“Harbor Freight is a great place to shop if you’re looking for affordable tools and supplies without sacrificing quality. The staff was very helpful and friendly during our visit, and the prices are extremely reasonable. They also have plenty of deals and discounts going on regularly, which makes it even easier to save money. One example that really stood out to us was a bag of zip ties we purchased for only $2. Later, we found what appeared to be the exact same product at Home Depot for $18. That was a huge price difference and really showed us how competitive Harbor Freight can be. I also like that Harbor Freight is a family-owned company, which makes me feel better about supporting the business. They offer frequent promotions and discounts, and you can sign up for text updates to hear about new deals and special offers. Overall, we had a very positive experience. The prices are great, the quality is good, and the staff is helpful. I would definitely recommend giving Harbor Freight a try instead of automatically going to the bigger home improvement stores. You may find the same or similar products for a much better price!”

“This Lowes honestly rarely fails me. Whenever I need something, I can usually find it on their website, and check if it's available. That's key. Setting expectations and meeting the expectations. I usually either order it online for pick up in a little bit (usually takes less than an hour)... or write down the specific aisle where the item is and run in and grab it without having to traverse the labyrinth of aisles and distractions. The only thing that annoys me is when something is in a special aisle (like "BACK WALL 002") -- can be somewhat vague and you might go all around the whole store trying to find which part of the back wall that is. They should really have a map, but if you're less people-averse than me, they tend to have plenty of staff around who can answer your question of where that is -- and people have always been super nice. I have had a situation a couple times where the available stock is up above the normal aisles. Finding someone to help me was kind of a pain in one case (plumbing area -- which is in the far back corner without many people around)... but I did find someone and they were able to grab the item. Another time, I was able to find someone super quick and they grabbed the thing... so, just a mixed bag there.”
