The staff is very friendly, helpful, and provides exceptional customer service, with cashiers noted for their amazing attitudes. Customers find it easy to enter and exit the parking lot. However, many reviewers note that prices are considerably higher than at other stores, with some saying they are beyond crazy or at least 50 percent more than national chains. Some feel the prices aren’t bad at all, while others state they would drive to another location or town to save money. Several customers specifically prefer the Monte location over the one in Elma, which seems to have higher prices in general.

Love this Thriftway, I drive all the way from Elma because their prices, produce and selection are far better than the one in Elma, this one also has a loyalty points program.

extremely thrifty way, love this place because it has food, and I like food. My rating: 5 stars + picture of george w bush (which counts as an extra star)
(jokes aside, this is a very nice store with friendly staff and a good selection of products I like, shopping here is great)
