One tray frosted, one tray unfrosted. Being proponents of less more, we got an unfrosted one to share. It was still warm at just before 8:00 when we got it….

The texture of the dough is the best I’ve ever tasted. A lovely soft but firm and perfectly moist crumb. Not gooey- which we hate. Not dry- also a big no for us. The cinnamon was not excessively wet- also hate it when that happens. It was the right amount of sweet, like European pastries, not excessively sweet. Did not miss the frosting at all. In other words, perfection!
A huge “well done” to the baker. Thank you, thank you! You are 7 hours from our house, but I would seriously consider taking the drive for that cinnamon bun.

104 Westlake Ave Suite A, MortonI'm not giving this five stars because it has great food or atmosphere, but because it fulfills its mission perfectly. Hot crispy fish and not that crispy fries delivered quickly at a good price (Not to mention that it's one of the very few places which were open at 10:00 in the morning serving food on a Saturday). The ambiance is dilapidated ballpark concession at the end of the universe. I can see how this has probably served generations of people in this town.
