“Outside the library we students were able to put together multiple voters registration drives that were ery successful. A group of like minded students from Professor Tutt Minorities class put together a small study & activities group who were active on campus & in Skagit & Whatcom County attempting to plant seeds & make changes in the minds of ndividuals we encountered to give them reason to pause & think about their belif systems on biased thought patterns how they develepod them & how they may be able to change the. language they used, jokes they told (both micro & macro aggressions) to improve themselves, teach their family, co-workers & friends that small changes can make a big difference with many voices & over time. Black Lives Matter, Brown, LBGQ, disabled, all marginalized groups need to have systems in place that show them THEIR LIFES MATTER.”
