The tamales are cheap and delicious. I could eat at this place 4-5 times a week. They're really busy and opened up a 2nd place so even more proof this place is dialed in!”

“This Shell convenience store carries cell phone accessories. I was in need of a charger and they had a nice selection. I was delighted to save a trip to an electronic store. Clerk was very helpful in helping select one and made sure it was compatible with my phone. The price was very reasonable!”

“Just stopped for water, I picked one up that was under $2. I had two $1 bills and a $20, after tax the water was $2.16. The gentleman behind the counter told me to not worry about it and he'll just take the $2. Will have to stop by again to make sure I pay him back, very kind of him to do this.”

“I have been using this location for 6 months now, twice a month because they accept vouchers through Catholic Community Services. Every time I have gone in its been either the owner or Stephen and I couldn't have been more satisfied!! They have never made me feel like my business wasn't as important as someone with cash, and are always friendly and conversational!! I will continue to fill up here after I'm done with the program that supplies the voucher just because of the fantastic service!! Stephen is such an amazing employee, always friendly, helpful, and always doing work, I've never seen him not working on something around the store!!!”

“Was looking for food while staying at the family cabin and The BLG appeared as the closest location for food. The reviews looked great so we headed over.For what seems like a small shop, it is very quaint and offers many items for sale from your typical gad station snacks like soft drinks and candy, to a full menu of hot food to beer and liquor. We got 2 orders of the chicken strips and fries and 1 order of the mac and cheese bites. 15 minutes later we had fantastic hot food. The mac and cheese bites were great and there had to have been a pound worth of fries and chicken apiece. If you find yourself in the Big Lake area this is sure to satisfy your cravings!”
