Terrible Support From Tech For Lawn And Garden Tools. Purchased a 2 Year Certificate extended warranty for an additional $50.00. Gas trimmer stopped working after 2 months. Lowes would not assist in any way. Called extended warranty Assurant and they cannot assit until after the 1 year manufacturer warranty. Called Craftsman 3 difgerent times only to be provided service centers 4 hours away and none of them worked on Craftsman products. When I called Craftsman back they refused to reimburse us or send a replacement. Their customer service is a joke. This is such a scam between Lowes and Craftsman. It's no wonder Craftsman went bankrupt. Would Not Refer Anyone To Purchase Craftsman Products. Will Never Make A Craftsman Purchase Again or shop at Lowe's. The cashier at Lowe's also I formed us that if we need to return just bring it back and they will take care of us. Lowe's should be ashamed to sell Craftsman products and making false promises.

My 85 year old mom bought a safe and paid for delivery fee. We were told at the time of purchase that it would be delivered and put in place. We wouldn't have purchased it if it wouldn't be put in place. It was delivered and left in the middle of the garage on top of two pallets. The way it was left is unsafe. It's extremely heavy and wobbles on top of the two pallets. It could fall over and crush someone. It was also damaged and no paperwork was included. We can't even open it. Again, we wouldn't have purchased it if it wouldn't be put in place. My mom is 85 years old and can't move a safe. We've called customer service several times and it was suggested to get a neighbor to help move it. We were told one of the delivery guys had a hurt back and the other couldn't move it himself. Also, they don't have a hand truck on their truck. It is damaged and we called to talk to someone about the damage and to come and pick it up. They can't come pick it up until the 21st and won't return her money until the safe is picked up. I told the person that day mom is busy. He wouldn't listen and told me they would be here the 21st. Mom has appointments that day that can't be changed. Customer service is a joke. We should not be told to ask a neighbor to help when we paid for delivery and placement. Also we were hung up on 4 times. My mom is 85 and can't move a safe even if she could get a neighbor to help.

Since I am updating the condo I recently purchased, I've bought a number of items, big and small, from Lowe's in Mount Vernon, WA. The service has been efficient, personable, knowledgeable, and often fun. Jazmina surprised me when she helped me find a closet organization system, then, small-statured though she is, hefted it and carried it out to my car with no problems at all. After that she recognized me on subsequent visits. Then I needed to create a storage system for the back wall of my single-car garage. Dave, who is an institution at Lowe's after about 20 years there, gave me his full attention in planning out a possible system. When I returned two days later to follow through and purchase the system, he gave me over an hour of his time, pulling the wire-metal racks to stand them against their displays, and sort of setting it up so I could see how it would work. Then he followed through with every single aspect of it--the magical header that the uprights hang from (snugged against the wall,) the brackets, the shelves, and much consideration for every screw, moly-bolt, and end caps I would need. Yesterday my brother and I put the system together, and it went flawlessly. Nothing was missing except the 3'W x 6' tall storage cabinet that is being assembled for delivery, and will fit into a corner of the shelf system where we left a big empty space for it. Even Leidy at the cash register kept her eye on the 2 carts of stuff we took to the front check-out area while we went to the far end of the store to find and make decisions about the small hardware. A most surprisingly easy experience for a rather complex purchase! Dave is a one-man PR person for Lowe's in Mount Vernon just by his knowledge, involvement in the project, and good humor. I have also had attentive help from people in appliance and countertops departments, although I was just gathering info. This is now my go-to home supply store! Thanks all around, and see you soon!

I found what I was looking for on the Lowes website for the MV store and there was 3 in stock. I went to the store and after 3 people looked at their store phone directory and couldn't help, one went to the wrong area and I told her that and she said "I know, you are just going to have to be patient", twice. No please, no thank you or apology for the inconvenience. Virginia then informed me with what seemed like joy that I would have to wait 15 minutes while they found someone to clear the aisle and get it down for me. She said this twice too and it seemed like she just wanted us to say never mind. Virginia was rude, wasn't kind at all and treated us like we were the problem. I never once raised my voice or displayed my dissatisfaction at her lack of skills in her job. This isn't the first time in this store where the customer service was like this. I only went there today instead of Home Depot because what I needed was the better deal. Whoever is responsible for the customer service in this store has failed miserably and many other reviews reflect my opinion. This is a poorly managed store that just doesn't care.

i needed cabinets for a house remodel to sell i went to the store and they seemed to have most of what i needed but it is impossible to get any help in the store. so i went home and ordered on line (about $3000 in cabinets). a couple days later i start getting all these notices from the store saying "pickup your order now or we will cancel it." so i called store waited on hold for 25 min. and finally got a human. they verified the order was ready so i told them i would be in in 3 days. went to get the order and the clerk just wanted me to sign for the order without giving me a chance to verify the accuracy of the order and clerk was obviously irritated when i insisted !! well upon 10 min of my inspecting 2 pallets of cabinets i figured out that five out of thirteen cabinets were missing !!!!!!!! so then i had to suggest we see if the missing items are in stock. the clerks in store did not think of this !!!!! but the cabinets were 20 feet off the ground and the lowes clerks after 25 min. could not get them out of the racks. so i gave up. then the lowes clerks told me i either have to cancel the entire order and leave it or cancel those two items in racks they could not get and reorder them online. unbelievable as to their incompetance. and no one at lowes apologized no one in fact they acted like they were being inconvenienced. when it is their imcompetetance that caused the issue. unbelievable i have gone to other lowes stores in other towns and the difference is quite distinct as to how bad the mount vernon lowes is.

I needed a new pressure washer, the first place I shopped at was Lowe's. It took me quite some time to find one, I wasn't looking for a box on a shelf, I was looking for a floor model, and they did not have any pressure washers put together to look at. I did eventually find a pressure washer in a box that fit my needs and I finally found an employee to help me put it on a cart. The store was really empty for a Friday afternoon and I found a friendly cashier who greeted me. My cashier immediately told me how much I could save by signing up for a Lowe's Credit Card, and that it would only take two minutes. I was going to save about $80 so I agreed to sign up for one. About ten minutes later we were still entering my information and I finally told my cashier to forget the credit card, just sell me my pressure washer so I can go home and get to work. The cashier was actually raising her voice at me as I walked out, telling me "You need to take free money!". I am not upset with the cashier, I understand that she is being pressured by Lowe's to push Lowe's credit cards on the customers at check out, and the cashiers absolutely should not be put into that position. It's no wonder that this Lowe's had "We Are Hiring" signs all over the store, if I was forced to push credit cards on customers I would look elsewhere for my place of employment. On top of that, i had to take my pressure washer home and put it together myself, and what a headache that was.

I had my windows measured for blinds in August 2020 and was totally ignored when I went into order my blinds. I finally got an appointment in June of 2021. Ordered over $2400 worth of blinds. Took two months before they were finally installed. Our installer immediately found 3 problem. Our very expensive large blind cannot be used because it is defective. He called the supplierbut was unable to get any resolution. Two other blinds are also defective and we are unable to open and close them as purchased. Our lovely sheer blind came with a black bug caught in the middle of one of the slats. I'll live with that. But, Lowes will not even talk to me about getting the problems fixed. I have been in the store 3 times, promised a call from the manager, but no response. I sent a long letter to the manager and no response. DO NOT ORDER FROM LOWES!!! They don't care!!!

We purchased a new washer drier combination on August 26th. It was to be delivered and installed about 3 days later. The unit was delivered and the old one removed as scheduled. The 2 kids that delivered it were not up to the task. If we had not gave them some guidance they would never have got it out. They claimed their truck did not have the proper equipment to do the installation. They claimed they would tell their supervisor to get another crew to install the new unit. They contacted us with a new date and time. No one showed up. Called Lowe's and they arranged a new day and time. No one showed up. Called Lowe's and got to a manager who talked to their 3rd party company scheduler. The scheduler said he would get it scheduled the next day and would notify us of the appointment time. No one showed up and did not get a call. After noon I went to the store to purchase furniture sliders as we decided that we would need to install it ourselves (I am 83 and my wife is 81). While I was there I talked to the people in the appliance department where it was purchased. They contacted the delivery company and verified we were on the schedule. They claimed that someone had come to the house at 8:00 am. Our security camera picked up FedEx, Amazon and United Parcel Service but no Lowe's truck. They said they would have a crew here between 4 & 7, no show. About 7:30 we decided to try to install it ourselves. This unit is 74" high and weighs 350lbs. We actually were successful in getting it moved from our deck to the installation site. We decided at that time that was enough for that day. This morning after breakfast I started the installation process. The unit is in a single closet size area with just enough room to slide it in part way to hook up everything on the back. Then I was able to push it in and test it. (Today is September 11th.) SUCCESS. Now I need to try to get a refund for the installation fee I paid. Not too happy to say the least, think I will go back to Home Depot. Ray Bunn Sent from my iPad

We purchased a new grill from Lowe's and had it scheduled for delivery. Why do they always deliver or fail to deliver to us at the very backend of the delivery window. We deserve to be treated fairly and have as much right to early delivery as everyone else. What a way to screw up a Saturday, waiting for a delivery, because Lowe's is too lazy to do it correctly

Placed an order for delivery. We were told it would be here on the 20th. On the 21st we call to see what happened because no one from Lowe's told us anything. After a full hour on hold, we get told they "forgot to load" our order and wouldn't be delivered for another week (27th). Morning of the 27th rolls around and we wake up with a voicemail saying they couldn't fit our delivery on the truck even though it was a "priority." Also, we paid extra to have everything delivered on the 20th. Terrible service.

Beware lumber prices. We all know that there are not enough employees to assist customers at Lowes. Unfortunately, in these days of skyrocketing lumber prices, the prices marked on lumber products doesn't always match the price at checkout. They're raising prices on stock that's been sitting around, without changing the tags.

Mary in the garden department was so incredibly helpful! I needed a few planters for my front porch to spruce it up for summer and she helped me pick out planters, flowers and answered all of my questions regarding sun exposure needs etc. all while helping other customers and checking people out. It was convenient that I didn't even have to go in the store to check out I was able to do all my shopping and check out in garden center. Thank you Mary for such an awesome experience at Lowe's! You are the reason I will come back and do more shopping.

My fence panels were sold out from under me. They were supposed to be delivered on Friday, 5/21 to my gated property in Concrete (45m from store, 1.5hrs from where I live in Redmond). Store would not give me specific delivery info so I drove to store area and arrived at 8am, given the ridiculous delivery window of 8am to 8pm. Was supposed to get a call at 8am to let me know closer to what time they'd arrive. Waited two hours, no call. I called at 10:30am and after a long back-and-forth with multiple associates who kept putting me on hold, I was told that the panels would not be delivered that day, because a "Pro Member had purchased them and Pro Members take priority". So I wasted an entire morning waiting for nothing. Delivery was rescheduled for the next Friday, 5.28. Had to recoordinate taking more time off of work to be there. On Monday I randomly decided to check the status online. I see that delivery was changed again to Wednesday the 26th. No email notification, no call. I had already made new plans and Wednesday was not feasible. At this point I, a 30-something female, had been treated so unfairly and was so sick of being dicked around, I had to have my friend's husband call on my behalf. Only after speaking to a man, did the delivery Manager Ethan, agree to keep the rescheduled date of Friday the 28th. ABSOLUTE nightmare. I will NEVER shop at Lowe's again.

We have had a terrible experience ordering a washer/dryer with matching pedestals. When the washer dryer arrived without the pedestals we were told if we used them without the pedestals, we would not be able to install pedestals in the future. So, we lived for a while without a washer/dryer. We then received notification that the pedestals were in but one was damaged. We were told we could keep one of them, or both, and that a replacement could be ordered if we rejected the damaged unit. When the team came to install they told us we had to take both or none at all - because they are a set. So we refused them. They said that we could install our washer/dryer and add the pedestals later - so we had endured the wait for no reason. They installed them, told us they were ready to go, and left. The first load we ran did not work because they had not turned on the water. The second load we ran flooded the laundry room floor because they had not tightened the hoses. We found them to be a young, careless, not very experienced team. We have talked with different managers - some helpful, some not, who have told us different information. One customer rep in particular was incredibly rude. She asked for the order number and I told her the confirmation email only had a transaction number - not an order number. "I can't use that." she said. I asked if we could use our telephone number,.. "I can't use that." she said. I asked what we could use to find the order, and that in the past using my telephone number had worked.... she hung up on me. When I finally was able to talk to a manager she said she could not place a replacement order for me until they were in stock - in mid June - we paid for these in mid-February. I understand that appliances have been difficult to find in this busy construction phase going on everywhere... we are not complaining about the wait - we are complaining about the very poor installation service and the poor communications and follow up from the store. This really will be the last time we order from Lowes.

Let me tell you just how awful this place is. I go EVERYWHERE else before I go to Lowes. When you walk in, notice how everyone avoids you. Be prepared to wait and have fun counting the mistakes employees make. Otherwise you will get angry, it's what I do. I've seen 7 employees surrounding the customer service desk trying to figure out something and NONE of them were helping a customer. When I started to ask a question, one of the people glared at me and said, "WE WILL BE WITH YOU IN A MOMENT, SIR!" So, I'm a patient man.. I waited. 10 minutes.. I started conscious breathing to relax... 20 minutes, I looked around and smiled trying to find things to look at near the entrance.. 30 minutes, the employees started laughing over a joke they were sharing amongst themselves until one of them jabbed the other in the ribs, pointing out that I was still standing there. 30 minutes and I was meditating. I realized they were all waiting for me to leave, so I left and walked across the store. I kept turning back as I was walking and they were watching me, when I got three cash registers down, they broke the huddle and scurried off in different directions, laughing. When you can find someone, they have no idea what anything is, how it works, or where to find it. These people should be sitting at home collecting a paycheck because they might get more done there. Don't bother trying to look for something either. There are displays that are blocking important items on the shelves. If you know right where what you're wanting is, maybe you will find it, otherwise, forget it. When you ask an employee to find it, they usually are even more clueless than you and say, "Hmm.. that sounds like it might be in this department so let's go try there." I don't need company on my search! Either you know where to find it and can tell me the isle number or you don't. Employees can be nice but they are all absolutely clueless. I am a disabled war veteran so I do get a veteran's discount and there is even veteran parking right up front.. even so, this is the LAST place on my list. It's sad to see a business so HORRIBLY run. I'd say it's the management but I think the problem here goes higher up. I believe it's their process. They hire people who are not skilled. I went back into the lighting department and the older man there scowled at me, like I had entered his private domain and was disturbing his peace with my presence. A guy in plumbing discouraged me from using an on-demand hot water heater by telling me something he heard. I went home and did research and this guy was spreading a rumor, he had no idea what he was talking about. Sometimes when I ask a question I get a look like from this lady like she was thinking "How can you expect me to know where the baskets are?!" People can be lovely wherever you go but I think the employees here know how bad it is and that they don't know anything. Go to the Home Depot in Burlington. The employees there know so much about everything. The store there is organized and well-stocked. Wonderful return policy. Lowes is horrible. Today I turned back to Lowes as a last option for something on the weekend. I called (frowning horribly at the idea I am resorting to turn back to Lowes) and attempted to be connected to the lumber department. I was disconnected 6 times. Never spoke with a person. If I were a stock-holder in this company, I would be so depressed and angry. The only good thing about this Lowes is that it's close to Dairy Queen. As you're driving away, at least you can pull up to the drive-thru and get an ice cream while you're crying. DON'T GO TO LOWES. If I haven't made it clear yet.. please for the sake of your sanity.. don't waste your gas or your time.. bad bad bad LOWES. BAD LOWES. BAD LOWES. BAD. The only things worse is that I can't give LOWES NO STARS. LOWES doesn't deserve ANY STARS. Yelp says that 1 star is "NOT GOOD". Lowes is not "NOT GOOD"
