Skagit Habitat Store is a large and well-organized thrift store that offers a wide variety of donated new and used items, including appliances, building materials, doors, windows, cabinetry, decor, furniture, hardware, tools, lighting, and more. It serves as one of the main sources of funding for Skagit Habitat for Humanity, supporting programs that help build affordable homes for families in need. The store's extensive space includes separate areas for building supplies and cabinets, and visitors often spend a significant amount of time exploring its inventory. The staff is friendly, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile to assist customers, such as helping find the right door or arranging swaps. While some furniture prices may be high, many items are offered at reasonable prices, making it a popular spot for DIY projects and shopping for home improvement needs. The store also actively participates in community events, promoting Habitat's mission of creating affordable housing.
Lots of merchandise; though prices are getting ridiculous. It does go to a good cause and they do have discounts for slow moving inventory.
