“My kiddos enjoyed picking out their clothes and the ladies there helped out since one of my two kids is autistic, they made him feel like he wasn't any different. Glad this organization is around for families like mine. Im struggling to make ends meet with raising kids by myself on disability. Love you guys!”
“This nature walk is delightful. There are some shaded portions of their boardwalk that have gotten a bit funky with algae or something that can make it a bit slippery, and I suggest only going on dry days if you have any mobility impairments.Their artificial stream/fish viewing area is unfortunately skippable. Every time I’ve looked it’s been so dirty/murky there was nothing to see. I feel that it could be better maintained.Their hours are also a bit limited and I really wish they were open on Sundays as that is usually the day my family likes to go on nature walks. But I love the walk and I love supporting the foundation through membership and their cute little shop.”
“What a wonderful experience for clueless cityfolk like me! So much to learn, so much I didn't even suspect about what farm animals were like, not to mention the rescue stories and many other detailsThank you so much!”
“One of my sons and myself decided to check out this organization to get a little help with a bit of food it has changed since I was there maybe 20 years ago and they're still kind of like doing the covid thing where you come to the door and you're separated from the rest of the facility they do have lunch between 1:00 and 1:30 so take note of that it's not a long wait you know there's the yard you can sit in or what have you the only problem is is I have a disability with nerve damage so it's very very painful for me to stand in one spot for long periods of time I feel that maybe they're understaffed because my weight for maybe five people ahead of me was literally 2 hours long and God bless the people that work there and the ones that donate but hey if you ever feel like reaching out to a nonprofit organization or you need to help somebody I think it would be the perfect thing to ask them do you need help in the warehouse or do you need help you know serving clients or what have you my family is very grateful for the assistance that we did receive on a temporary time it worked out pretty well and my kids did receive a lot of nutritional good things that they would choose themselves now that was only a random day that was not one of their food boxes that they serve two times a month”

“Enjoyed seeing the Silver Tipsgames here. Easy access from Seattle via public transport. And nice food/drinking establishments near the stadium. Good value for family entertainment. Better than Thunderbirds games in my opinion.”
“Nice small mosque with good parking space. They have 2 Friday prayers. 1st one at 1:30 and second one is at 2:05. There is space for sisters as well (only in the second Juma).”
“I went to bingo here and it reminds me of cheers! You're always greated with smiled and welcoming personalities! If you've had a bad day this is the place to head. It won't make your troubles disappear, but you'll find an ear to listen to you.”
“Love shopping here! It helps so many people while at the same time charging good prices for new and used stuff! I always want more from there than what will fit in my house!?”
“Get the word out to anyone with a need for home medical gear. This stuff is pricey at full retail and might not be covered by insurance. Donors Closet is staffed by volunteers and sells gently used donated home medical (wheelchairs, walkers, shower chairs, etc.) at typically 25% of full retail. Maybe you are no longer in the market as your need has passed, so please consider donating here in lieu of your normal thrift store. It's a great cause!”
“They absolutely are amazing... they saved my sweet little snowflake. She had a large tumor growing on her side and all of a sudden it opened up and i thought she was going to die. I live in Shelton WA and there are no small animal vets. I turned to them and they got her seen by thr vet and the tumor removed. Now my sweet little girl can go on about her life with no more pain or suffering. Thank you guys so much!!!!!”
“EAGLES 2888 is a wonderful place to be. I enjoy the people very much. Eagles 2888 is a perfect example of "People helping People" everybody volunteers one way or another. Watching the Seahawk games are great. It gets loud watching the games. We as many TV's that we have. The food is really good too. Our cook Lincoln creates some meals from scratch. That means homemade cooking. Both my husband and I enjoy meeting new people and visiting friends new and Old. I hope you stop by and come visit us. Ring the doorbell and come on in and lets talk.”
“Yo the last persona comment I am a 45 year old law abiding citizen single mom with a 9 year old and 12 year old daughter, a son who just graduated from a university in another state. I am homeless, I have lung tumors and poor health. These guys stepped up. What you said about them helping criminals and whoever else I can't speak to that. I can speak to who I am, and I am grateful. and I am not what you said.”

“Coming here was the best decision I evermade! They told me they were going to help me and they are!! No joke! They don't play games, they help get the job done right with kindness and heart! Thank you Pathways :)”
“The Whidbey Institute is a very special place to visit. The land is deep and beautiful, and the buildings are nestled gently into the calming and majestic presence of the trees as if they themselves grew from the island hills. The staff are welcoming and soothing and the food is incredible. While the program that drew me there wasn't important part of my experience, the place itself is already drawing me back just moments after leaving.I highly recommend taking some time to visit this place and to find your way of connecting with a quietness and openness it has to offer.”
“Very good friendly staff. It is always a pleasure to visit and contribute my blood donation to help others. I'll continue to visit the Everett Oak St. location for all my furniture donations.”
“I am a cashier volunteer for Assistance League and I am really sorry for any of the folks who felt they weren't valued. I myself do give equal value to each customer who shops at our store. We are all in this together and I believe in the golden rule "do unto others as you would have them do unto you! We volunteer at Assistance League because we care. Please don't sling arrows when expressing your opinions. We are from all walks of life and different economic conditions. Some of our volunteers benefited from our School Children's Programs and that's why they came back as adults to be on the other side of the giving. Hope this helps let you all know you ARE valued and we will try harder to take your words to heart.”
“Truly amazing place! I wish I'd known about it a year ago when I first found myself on the streets with nobody to help me through the worst time in my life! I'm so thankful a new friend took me over there to meet everyone and show me how wonderful some people still are out here! They offered me food and clothes and help with finding a place to live a hot shower and a place to take a nap for a few hours and said I can wash my clothes there too! I will definitely be going back there soon! It's so nice to know there's a place like that when u feel like u have nobody and nothing in this world theres little light in your path to help u find your way.. God bless these women who are there for the less fortunate. Your truly Angels in my life!”
“Love this non profit. They have a great restaurant and resale furniture store on sight. Both are used in their training program, teaching people marketable job skills, including 4 weeks of soft skills training. Great staff who help students find jobs once they finish the program.”
“A great place to find those items..you might be looking for.. hardware, furniture, miscellaneous items.. always find something I need....Wonderful and friendly crew always welcomes you ...”
“Updated May '23: Still the best (and realistically, the only) place to go. Have always been thankful they are here. Just coming back into the "fold".Always 5+ stars!!!For those with HIV, the place to go. Carrie is the best Case Manager, but I AM biased.”
“I absolutely adore working at Skate Journeys! The atmosphere here is fantastic, and the team's dedication to spreading the joy of skating is inspiring. Moreover, my kids absolutely love their skate lessons! The instructors are not only skilled but also incredibly supportive, making it a wonderful learning experience for them. Highly recommend this place for both work and play”

“My daughter loves going there after school! The staff truly care about the kids, help them with their homework, teach them chess, play games with them! Awesome organization!”
“This outlet does NOT disappoint! It’s one of the most organized Goodwill Outlets I’ve been to and the staff is friendly. I have found some really great stuff here over the years. Kids toys, bike, scooter, clothes and a bunch of shoes for such good prices and good condition saving us hundreds and hundreds of dollars. The past few times I’ve went the parking wasn’t an issue, there was actually plenty of parking. Just expect to leave with more than you hoped to buy.”
“My son Ashton has been attending All Aboard for a year now. He loves it there. He has made numerous friends, and he feels like he is a part of something he cares about, and having something for him to be a part of has changed his whole outlook on life. He is definitely a happier adult with disabilities.
They have BINGO, karaoke, art, and crafts and social interactions that become very important as well as once a monthly dances held at Forrest Park.
I feel he is 100% safe as they have plenty of great supervision.
I enjoy volunteering here as well. It's truly a gift to myself every time I am surrounded by these wonderful souls.
Every one of them are precious!”
