“Kindercare Harbour Pointe was my number 1 choice when I decided to go back to work. I did a tour with Kathy the director and she was so sweet and very informative. My son has been going for a few weeks now and he loves Ms. Rachel! She is the best and I love the updates we get throughout the day. I feel at ease knowing he is in Ms. Rachels care!! Ms. Rachel is easy to talk to, she knows how close I am with my son so her updates are a plus. Ms. Hannah is also amazing! She always is so sweet to my son. Kathy is also very communicative which I love. We also love seeing Carisa in the front every morning! She made enrollment very easy! “The learning experience has been a great launchpad for our toddler and we are so glad we chose them. When we initially enrolled our son we were skeptical if he’d be able to adjust and find comfort. However, the teachers made sure he was loved and cared for. They held him when he was seeking comfort and let him adjust to the daycare schedule at his own pace. We also love the playful learning schedule filled with songs, outdoor time and sensory activities. Our little boy is thriving and how!

“This school is wonderful. I struggled with looking for a place for my child to develop his social skills since he didn't get to be around with other kids since the covid hit. When I found this place, I knew my child will be well taken care of. They are very welcoming. They embrace and nurture my child like their own. They are like family. Staff are excellent and very understanding. Meals are healthy. They do fun field trips and activities for the kids. I respect and appreciate all the staff of this school. “This place has been around for 40+ years for a reason. People who went here as kids have grown up and now send their children here because of the wonderful staff. They pour their hearts and souls into our children on a daily basis. Without fail, I’m greeted every morning with smiles and personal greetings from the office, teachers and the director herself...who sits at the front instead of hidden in some office.Anyone who thinks and writes reviews otherwise about the director must be touched in the head themselves. Especially if they’re former employees hiding behind yet another name change. We all know Steven Whitmore isn’t a real person on Whidbey with any interactions with the Center (it’s a small community). Anyways, there are staff who have been here for more than 15 years. Almost their entire staff has been at the center for more than 2 years, some 5 and others 10 years or more! I would hardly call that a high turnover rate. The South Whidbey Children’s Center is a wonderful place, academically challenging and very nurturing. I would highly recommend it as both a workplace and/or an enriching place to send your little, loved ones. My only complaint was with the decisions and demeanor of a particular staff member who no longer works there. Everything else is great!!”

“Animation class is pretty sweetness if I do say so myself. There are flaws of course. I think that there could be more lessons regarding the principles and techniques of animation, but I think that overall, the class makes you discover whether or not the career path is correct for you. Food art the sno-isle's kitchen is good and staff is pretty friendly. Overall, it gud.”

“Our experience here has been really good here. They are very understanding and patient here with the Children and Families. They are a close knit of wonderful Teachers. We LOVE that they use the Bright Wheel app which makes it easy to see your childs progress throughout their day with photos and videos of them enjoying their day. Also with the ability to message back and forth through the app and their ability to respond so quickly makes it so much easier and helpful on the communication process between Parents and Teachers. Our daughter loves going to daycare here and we know that she is safe and happy when away from home while here.”

“My daughter loves coming here, her cousin goes here also and I was a stay at home mom for the first 18 months of my baby girls life so it was really hard being comfortable with a childcare for her and myself and I love that she comes home with a smile everyday and is singing cute songs and dances she learns there, they have a great outdoor play area for the kiddos and a cozy indoor facility. “My daughter has been blessed to attend Rise Up Academy from the age of 2½-6yr old. My daughter suffered from social anxiety along with other developmental issues. She only knew a sall part of the alphabet and her numbers 1-10 in sight. Dr. Stoot, Ms. Claire, and Ms. Emma began the process of aiding my daughter and I in developing the necessary skills, knowledge, and tools necessary to enable us to navigate through some of the most difficult days of our lives. As my daughter grew and her needs evolved so has Rise Up Academy and the rest of the staff. I must not forget to include Dr. Terry, Mr. Mejinta this year helping her to thrive academically and emotionally. My daughter now reads at a 3rd grade level along with 2nd grade mathematical abilities. All due to the one on one assistance in conjunction with small groups based on each childs individual needs she's received. Not to mention Ms. Nupur and Dr. Salgado under the guidance of Dr. Stoot have helped me to withstand some real hardships that otherwise I may not have been able to find my way through. So, what I am trying to say is that Rise Up Academy is more the a School, Teachers and Staff Members, its a Family with a Team that will go to battle with and for, you and your family- as long as you are willing to do your part.

Of course, no workplace is perfect, and changes like new directors can bring minor setbacks. However, La Petite Academy has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence. Despite these normal adjustments, they've maintained an exceptional level of care.

The property itself is clean and organized, creating a comfortable environment for the children. I appreciate the attention to detail in maintaining a clutter-free space that prioritizes the children's well-being. My daughter feels safe and happy here, and that's priceless.

One of the highlights of our experience has been the special bond my daughter has formed with certain staff members. Jennifer, although not her toddler teacher, has spent quality time with my daughter and has become someone she adores. Rowan, her actual toddler teacher, has been incredible in her care and teaching. Both of them have shown such patience, kindness, and creativity that make drop-offs a breeze. My daughter thrives under their care, and it's amazing to see her grow and learn.

I also love the playground and outdoor play areas in the back, which are perfectly set up for children of different ages. The kids absolutely love spending time outside, and it's wonderful to see them explore and play in a safe and well-designed environment. This attention to detail and commitment to outdoor play is just one more example of the exceptional care provided by La Petite Academy.

What impresses me most is her rapid progress.
