NAS Whidbey Island Commissary is a popular shopping destination known for its good variety of groceries and affordable prices. Customers appreciate the friendly atmosphere and the nice people they meet while shopping. The meat and vegetable sections are frequently praised for their good quality and selection. Many shoppers find the commissary to be a better option for savings compared to local grocery stores, especially given rising prices elsewhere. Visitors often spend a significant amount, believing they are getting great value for their money—sometimes enough to last several months. The commissary also serves as a place to visit and enjoy the local surroundings, with some customers exploring nearby shops and dining at local restaurants. While most reviews highlight positive experiences, some mention concerns about customer service, such as assistance with groceries, but these are not common. Overall, the commissary is seen as a convenient, affordable, and friendly place to shop.

Prices have gone up, shortage of some items. Self check out person can be rude at times. It's 35 items but every time I come through she is questions me on my items. I know the rules and can count .

Shop here for prices but I would admit a lot of their fruits and vegetables need to be removed from the shelf sooner because we find stuff that's already bad. Constant battle with this place. Never have enough cashiers. I'm standing in line 9 people waiting one cashier open.
