“We just switched to Renton Vet in June from Banfield as we moved and it came highly recommended by a co-worker. I have a German shepherd and had 3 cats at the time. I was quite pleased with Dr McLean and staff. One of the techs was a “cat whisperer” and easily trimmed all the cats’ nails and drew blood with no stress at all. Sadly we lost our oldest (8) sweet boy to a freak car accident only a few weeks after our intake appointment. The entire staff handled all of the business necessary for a private cremation with the grace, sensitivity and kindness I would expect of a long term relationship instead of only 3 weeks. While I miss my baby every day, I can’t say enough great things about the quality of care we’ve received from Renton Vet. Reasonable prices too!”

The facilities were clean, and most importantly, Martey came back from getting bloodwork happy as a clam. They were upfront about cost before any tests or vaccinations, so there were no surprises. “From the moment I made the first call to see if Cobblestone was a good choice for our family I knew they were the one! They not only heard but validated my worries and fears over my senior aging dog. Within 2 minutes had already nicknamed her (her exact nickname I might add!) But they hand picked the perfect exact provider to treat my dog's chronic illnesses but also customize her care to fit my desire for palliative care. “I was fed up with my old vet and switched over to Ravenna Animal Hospital because a friend referred me. After the first visit its already been night and day. The doctor sat with me and my dog and actually gave me some quality time to help figure out what is going on with my pup. We setup a diagnostic plan that feels thorough and I feel like we're finally going to get answers to her health issues! Such a great staff from intake perspective too - they got us in fast, were helpful at checkout, and just overall very pleasant demeanor overall!! Highly recommend!”

She was so happy and healthy because of them up until the very end. When her time came, Mercer Island Veterinary Clinic not only gave us her ashes in a gorgeous box, but they also provided a paw print, a letter, and some of her fur in the shape of a heart. They have worked seamlessly with our behaviorist to ensure he's getting the best medical treatment possible for his anxiety. They've given so much of their time and attention to him. And the rates for care here are very reasonable relative to the other two vets in the area we'd tried.”

“We have 5 pets. This is the nearest vet clinic to our home. Fortunately, they are fantastic at Brookfield. The vets and staff are great, easy to talk to and work with, sometimes with difficult stressful pet illness situations. We've also had lots of routine exams, and several spays and neuters with them.”

“We switched to this vet after having issues with our old vet about 8 years ago. We have been satisfied customers since then. They have decent bed side manner and can quickly diagnose issues with your pets if any. My only pet peeve with this business is how they handle prescription refills.
Many prescriptions you can order through regular pharmacies. Most other vets you call them and they call the pharmacy and then the pharmacy calls you once complete. This vet does it the other way around. Not only is this confusing if your pet needs medication for a health issue that could turn the other way around quickly. You can't be bothered with an annual check up before you place a prescription order in. This is frustrating and miss leading as a client. If my pets did not need prescriptions I would not bother with annual check ups. I have dropped the semi annual check ups as they are in good health and it is a waist of money.
Not sure why the vet put privacy film over the doors as my pet loved to look into the offices.”
“I’ve visited four different veterinary clinics, but it’s only at Kirkland Animal Hospital that my dog truly feels calm and at ease. Dr. Lee has an exceptional approach to handling animals — he is tactful, consistent, and never uses forceful restraint, which is unfortunately common in other clinics. My dog completely relaxes when Dr. Lee gives her a gentle chest massage before the examination and calmly talks to me in a soothing voice. The care and professionalism we’ve experienced here are unmatched. I also appreciate that their schedule is organized in such a way that my dog never encounters other patients, which makes the visit even more peaceful. I highly recommend Kirkland Animal Hospital for anyone looking for compassionate, expert care for their pets.”
“I highly recommend this clinic for anyone navigating a pet cancer diagnosis. After my dog was diagnosed with lymphoma in March 2025, this was the only facility in the greater Seattle area able to see him within six weeks.
The weekly commute from Marysville has been well worth it for the level of care we’ve received. The staff is consistently kind and makes a difficult treatment journey feel manageable for both of us. We have now officially passed the one-year mark of managing an aggressive cancer, which is a milestone I credit to this team’s expertise.

“My dog was experiencing recurrent ear infections and the vet I was using just kept trying different antibiotic treatments. This lasted about 2 months. I decided to give Alpine a try thinking that my existing vet was missing something. It turned out that she had a complete ear canal blockage from a polyp. Dr Bowman diagnosed the problem. I had to go to a vet dermatologist to get it removed. that has resolved the problem. Dr Bowman and the rest of the team are great and I recommend them highly!”

The office is small and personal but be aware that there are not separate entrances or waiting areas for cats and dogs which may not work for your pet. I plan to keep returning though!”

They helped me with my older dog and his many medical issues, and currently take care of my dog with disabilities. The acupuncture and chiropractic treatments are helping him remain mobile. I don’t ever feel rushed and they listen to all my concerns. Our pets are our family - we want only the best for them, and we wouldn’t take them anywhere else.
