“We switched to this vet after having issues with our old vet about 8 years ago. We have been satisfied customers since then. They have decent bed side manner and can quickly diagnose issues with your pets if any. My only pet peeve with this business is how they handle prescription refills.

Many prescriptions you can order through regular pharmacies. Most other vets you call them and they call the pharmacy and then the pharmacy calls you once complete. This vet does it the other way around. Not only is this confusing if your pet needs medication for a health issue that could turn the other way around quickly. You can't be bothered with an annual check up before you place a prescription order in. This is frustrating and miss leading as a client. If my pets did not need prescriptions I would not bother with annual check ups. I have dropped the semi annual check ups as they are in good health and it is a waist of money.

Not sure why the vet put privacy film over the doors as my pet loved to look into the offices.”

“We just switched to Renton Vet in June from Banfield as we moved and it came highly recommended by a co-worker. I have a German shepherd and had 3 cats at the time. I was quite pleased with Dr McLean and staff. One of the techs was a “cat whisperer” and easily trimmed all the cats’ nails and drew blood with no stress at all. Sadly we lost our oldest (8) sweet boy to a freak car accident only a few weeks after our intake appointment. The entire staff handled all of the business necessary for a private cremation with the grace, sensitivity and kindness I would expect of a long term relationship instead of only 3 weeks. While I miss my baby every day, I can’t say enough great things about the quality of care we’ve received from Renton Vet. Reasonable prices too!”

“We cannot say enough good things about this veterinary clinic and their entire team. They took exceptional care of our sweet girl after she tore her ACL and needed TPLO/TTA surgery.

Nurse Nina went above and beyond and surprised us with the sweetest custom bandage, which honestly meant more to us than she probably realized. The entire team came out to greet our girl, showered her with love, and made sure we left feeling confident about her recovery plan.

For anyone preparing for this surgery: they walked us through the healing process clearly and realistically—strict rest at first, gradual leash walks, pain management, and what signs to watch for during recovery. Knowing what was normal (swelling, slower movement early on, probably won’t eat or potty for the first 24 hours, gradual improvement week by week) helped ease so much anxiety. They were always available to answer questions and never made us feel silly for checking in.
