“I am so grateful for the staff at 6th Avenue Pharmacy. My loved one is now residing in her third a local long-term care (LTC) facility due to changing care needs. The LTC facilities require medications to be packaged into bubble-packs for safety and 6th Ave provides this service for free. 6th Ave also delivers meds to many local facilities.In the past, I have taken issue with long-term care staff requesting prescriptions from her primary care physician without first speaking with me. (Trust me, this happens more than you might imagine, as they feel inappropriately "entitled" to do so.) I tightly monitor her care to minimize errors and am poorly tolerant of being 'bypassed'. My work around was to ask 6th Ave not to fill any scripts without first seeking my permission and they have done so without fail.Pharmacies are not notified when prescriptions are discontinued, so I always call and let them know.Erik Nelson, the owner, and his staff (special kudos to Ann) have always been accessible and great communicators. Our relationship is a PARTNERSHIP. And, they have been WONDERFUL to us!”

You call for a backup cashier when the line gets too long. Your cashews are always friendly, even under pressure. The store is always clean and well stocked with a wide variety. “All Right, All Right! I just got off the phone, after 20 minutes, with Jimena Chas Clinic PHONE CARE. I had some issues. Jimena heard me out... Jimena did the research, found the answers I needed, by talking to my providers. Sure, it took 20 minutes, but that 20 minutes saved me hours of running around. When Jimena needed to put me on hold, she told me why I was being put on hold. Jimena was never short or curt, never expressing any frustration over the next knot that I needed untangled. Jimena made me feel like my issues mattered to her and that I was not the problem. Jimena's patience is HIGHLY COMMENDABLE. “Always great customer service. Prices are a little higher than average, but I'm willing to pay that for a clean store and nice staff. Due to extreme drug use at this location there is no public bathroom any longer, as of today 6/19/23, this is still true. That would be my only complaint. I take water pills and so it really sucks to be out shopping and have no access to a bathroom.”

“The bakery at this Safeway is excellent. Very nice folks and always do a nice job. The BDay cake we received today was 1/2 sheet, white cake with fresh strawberry filling. Topping is the fresh whipped cream and is a family favorite. It's an excellent choice if regular topping is too sweet for you. I simply told them what colors to work in with a basic theme, baseball. Nicole was the decorator and did an outstanding job. Have been going here for years for cakes and will continue to do so. Overall stars reflect my opinion of the entire Safeway location. Bakery is 5 stars, long lines, lack of check out staff, always being out of cart wipes, etc bring it down a notch.”
“I was in on 2/19/25 with my 3 year old son. I had a prescription slip to fill for my son. Jason in the pharmacy was excellent! He said normally it would take a half hour to fill my prescription. Once I told him I live a ways out he said he would expedite, since I had my young son with me and he knew it would be tough to keep him busy. 15 minutes later I got a text that the prescription was ready. Thank you Jason for being so thoughtful and kind. This is why I always do business with this Rite Aid! People are quick to send a bad review, but less likely to leave a good one! Keep up the good work Jason!”
