“I can’t say enough good things about Gibson’s Custom Meats. From the moment you walk in, it’s clear this place takes pride in quality. Their meat is consistently excellent, fresh, and well cut, and they offer a very wide range of options whether you’re shopping for everyday meals or something special. Everything I’ve purchased here has been outstanding.
The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They’re always willing to answer questions, make recommendations, and help you find exactly what you’re looking for without making you feel rushed. It genuinely feels like a local butcher shop that values customer service and builds real relationships with the community.
One thing that really sets them apart is their Pay It Forward program. It’s an amazing initiative that allows customers to help others in the community by covering the cost of an essentials meat pack for someone in need. Seeing a business actively give back like that speaks volumes about their values.
They also offer a military discount, which is very much appreciated and another example of how they support their customers. Between the quality of the meat, the wide selection, the welcoming staff, and their commitment to the community, this place easily earns five stars. “09/15/25 Today I called in a couple of times to ask if the store had some things I needed atm. The same person answered the phone both times (The calls were only a couple minutes apart) and each time the person working (Lindsey, perhaps was their name?) was very kind, quite quick to answer the phone (which was nice), and I was very impressed that they seemed to just know what felt like everything in the store-- Aisle numbers and everything! I also appreciated that they physically checked the aisle on my behalf as well. Thank you, Lindsey!”

“This is a magnificently well stocked grocery store. We stopped in for something to take to our hotel room and found a deli that was very well stocked. I ordered a custom sandwich with ham, salami, cheese, mayodijon spread and spinach on Rye Bread. It was superb. Did I mention that we were treated with the greatest of respect by the deli operators. They were so very helpful.”
