About Concern For Animals
Concern for Animals is a non-profit organization that provides life-saving services for pets in need in Thurston, Mason, and Lewis counties of Washington state. They offer a weekly pet food bank, assistance with spay/neuter costs, help with non-routine/emergency veterinary expenses, grooming assistance for senior owners, and support for owners experiencing domestic violence and homelessness. The organization also operates a community TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program for feral cats and a small cat adoption program. Reviewers express immense gratitude for the organization's support, with one low-income college student praising the grant they received to cover the cost of their cat's urgent spay surgery. Others highlight the organization's willingness to go "above and beyond" to meet the needs of pet owners, including providing quick assistance for a sick pet and offering various financial aid programs. Overall, Concern for Animals is described as a "super great non-profit" that is highly recommended for those facing financial troubles and in need of help for their pets.
