Poor customer service in person as they just amateurish and not professional and even worse when you try to get someone on the phone. You can request a call back because they can't answer a question then no one calls

Someone give Jorge a raise. I have never in my life experienced a bank employee who was able to show compassion like he did or helped to make things a bit lighter. Thank you for your kindness.As a review for SCU. They really need to make contacting your lender an easier process. I’ve worked with many banks and credit unions in the past and none have been so difficult to contact.

Been a member for over 40 years. I have never had a bad experience. Recently applied for a loan for a new "toy". Lisa could not have the experience any easier. Love this Credit Union.

This review is for SCU as a whole - not the Olympia branch in specific. Giving it 3 stars just because I don't want to trash this individual branch unnecessarily - but SCU needs to be better:Sound CU Auto Loan. Worst customer experience I've seen in a long time. I don't usually write reviews, but they have been so bad that it's worth it. Only have had the loan for about 5 months and have had multiple issues.1. They require documentation to show them as the lien holder. Fair enough. Took care of that quickly and sent it to them as per their instructions. A few weeks later I get a letter saying their charging me some ridiculous amount because they never received my documentation (which was emailed and I forwarded it to them as well). I send it again. They wait a few weeks and give me a "final warning". In the meantime, I had verified with my insurance (USAA - they're great) that I was supplying the correct documentation. And so, eventually after getting frustrated enough I called and they asked me to send it again. Which I did. Only after sending it three times and complaining about it on the phone did it get resolved ON THEIR END.2. I set up autopay on my account. Month 5 rolls around and evidently I haven't paid my bill because the autopay didn't happen? I wouldn't know, because I never received any correspondence from them until I received a combative letter stating that we are overdue and a fee had been assessed. Log back into their portal and set up autopay again - still not sure if it will work or not but what else can I do at this point.They do not communicate well (only communicate after it's too late) and are not pleasant to deal with. I might expect this from a big bank, but as a Credit Union, I expected better and am pretty disappointed.

Ordered checks n never received after a month. Staff cancelled payment for them, but I wonder who has them.A Staff didn't ask me for password. Don't feel account is safe.I like credit unions cuz u don't pay bank fees. I do get free money orders n they are quick, n I've been with them for years.When u call, it is a long time before customer service can answer.Complaints are ways to improve a company.

I have been bankjng with SCU for years and they have always come through for me. Today was an exceptional experience with Hudson and Lisa as they went above and beyond to get me a auto loan. Please come to the Lacey branch if you want a positive experience or really any SCU branch. They actually care and want to help you.

Absolutely abysmal service. Filed an auto loan that took forever to get approved to find out all the info they inputed was wrong. Took them a month and then proceeded to tell me the application expired when I was told by two reps it was renewed. Filled out another application for the same amount with a vehicle ready for them to tell me I'm not approved with perfect credit. Told me I was approved and to come in and then wasted a month of my time to tell me I own a car that isn't even in my name. Rude tellers and branch manager didn't even know what they were talking about. If you're looking for an easy time, this is not the place. This review is also only half the issues they gave me.

We had to give one star just to access the review. Otherwise we would have selected "fire these employees".Amber and Hudson....Two of the most incompetent hearts for such a job. Monkeys can hit keys for treats, but dealing with serving another beasts can not.Hudson issued a new debit card.... Did not activate it, nor check to see if it was.We drive more than one hundred miles to a mountain pass to discover this.A gracious store clerk gave us $90 of gas to return here to receive a new card.Amber, immediately wanted to shift all heaviness to a new hire, and when finding out it was hudson chose to defer for the remainder of our time together..Amber is unable to focus and decides to assist and listen in to other customers woes while attempting to remedy us receiving a new card. She has to phone someone, even after we tell her gently " this is where it went sideways before, lets just focus"Hudson was busy again just stating policy with no helpful information whatsoever to the customer he was interacting with. The customer was even skillfully helping hudson .Back to Amber who finally turns her computer screen to us and asks us to look at the "activation date" listed, saying "see, the other card didnt have one listed here"When I asked "was that screen the same as the screen yesterday, to verify this release of a card"She agreed openly yes....So, i looked at her and Hudson who would not look up.She then " Technically we dont have to tell you if its activated"So all in all....Its monkeys touching buttons.Your time in life undergoing hardship at their fault, and having to be rescued for having no access to funds because of their enormous self interest--- is simply your problem, they have to get back to touching buttons to get treats.So, heres the fun part.....Now, they will undergo the same as it is that God sees all.... Only im pretty sure that since they are so self centered it will be a pretty crushing trial.Will be moving to another bank shorlty, this is not the first time that Sound has employed the " we are right, we have all kinds of policy that we love more than you" character.We hope they are fired and go on to find some life experiences that render a better heart and accountability.But since that probably cant happen, at least get fired and find jobs more suitable for their lifestyle--- selling vanity mirrors or being amongst a rating pool for products, hopefully like Preparation A through G.

I came into the credit union this afternoon with an unusual request. I needed images of debit cards from my closed account. Lisa, the branch manager, caught wind of it and had documents created in a few minutes. I normally expect excellent service here because that's all I've ever received.

I have alot of specific things I could write about this place. In my 30 years experience they have been great. I cant imagin this place getting a complaint. Many of my coworkers do banking services here and I have never once heard a complaint.

Terrible experience with this bank. Took me an hour to make a simple car payment. Was informed that there would be a $10 fee for having a live person accept the payment, but that I could make the payment for "free" online or using the automated phone system. Could not get either to work after several tries with two different Visa cards. Had to call back to have the live representative take the payment, and they informed me that the problem was with Visa. Apparently, Visa cards don't work on Sound CU's site, but there's no information on their payment system about Visa cards not working. Tried both automated phone system and online system with same result. Had to wait on hold again for a live representative, who still wanted to charge me $10 to process the payment.

Lisa and her team are fantastic! Great customer service! We have personal accounts, business accounts and an Estate account. The team is knowledgeable and takes care of anything we need.
