“We have a French bulldog that is expecting puppies. We had a little scare today and visited Dr. Urguhart at South Bay. He was phenomenal and so Infomative. “I was immediately impressed! I found a wounded kitty on the side of Steamboat Island Road who needed immediate help. It was almost 6pm on a Friday eve. I drove there and the door was locked, but I knocked anyway. Two very friendly techs answered the door. I explained the situation and they could see how upset I was. Even though they didn't have a vet there, they took the kitty in and told me they would make it comfortable until the vet could examine him in the morning. I was so appreciative of their professionalism and compassion!”

“I have had amazing experiences with the team at South Bay. each team member has provided so much care and compassion in our older dogs cancer diagnosis and eventually we had to say our goodbyes to our sweet golden. the team was so supportive and caring during such a personal time. as we welcomed our new puppy they were excited for our family and gave us lots of puppy tips. we love South Bay, it is always worth the 45 minute drive for us! I was in distress calling around frantically, looking for a clinic that would help my baby girl (Mommas).
All the clinics I reached out to wouldn't see us because they were not accepting new patients.

“My soulmate of 13 years started to decline. Navigating our vet and emergency vet brought on a lot of loneliness as symptoms were a little vague and they’re so busy. We landed at OVS oncology thinking we’d lose her that day based on her worsened condition and X-rays. The team were immediately warm and comforting which was absolutely incredible despite my relentless feeling of doom.
She went through a scary situation some hours later. Dr. Parshley contacted me immediately with digestible information on what happened, next steps, and possible outcomes. You can tell when people put their entire soul into their craft, and this office is full of those people.

“I can’t say enough to how grateful we are for Dr Widener And his assistant Jenny. Our Rocco was near death when we took him in. Dr truly shows his love for animals and our dog
to donate his time and money to care for him when he was sick with salmon poisoning. It was literally the day of my birthday one week ago today when we thought we were going to have to euthanize him and Dr said, “I’m Going to do everything to save Rocco.” And he did.

“Definitely overall the best vet and facility. I have been going to him for 2 years. I have been to over 10 other vets over the past 20 years for emergencies or overall wellness. Positive things just to name a few: front desk staff are attentive And friendly and actually return your calls. Everybody in this facility never seems put out by questions asked or extra steps. This vet is extremely personable and will take the time to answer all questions and talk to you on the phone and face to face. He never seems annoyed and he always gives several other options as well as his opinion as a professional as to what should be done. He gives his honest opinion and then leaves it up to you as the owner to decide. Love this place and always recommend it to everybody I know with animals!!!!!!!! I have Maine Coons, bangle and dogs that come here”

“On the evening of the 16th, my Shiba Inu escaped. I just wanted to send my praises and gratitude to Rick who found Renji, was so very kind in communicating and made sure he was alright. Rick assured me that he did a thorough look over of him to screen for injuries etc. I didn’t have my car so he walked all the way to my apartment complex and returned him promptly and safely. I couldn’t have hoped for a better outcome. If Rick is any reflection of the kind of treatment pets receive at Olympia Pet Emergency, then I most assuredly would trust anyone there.”

“My dog lost her left eye to acute glaucoma. It was sudden, her vision was gone and hereye had to be re.oved and was, by a different ophthalmologist. With the right eye at risk, I wanted her to be seen by an ophthalmologist who would do everything possible to save her vision so I made an appointment with Dr. Brantman. She was very thorough and made sure I understood the emergency protocol should my girl's situation require it. A few days after our initial appointment, I thought I saw some changes in my girl's eye. I was able to contact the office and get advice in a timely manner. Medication changes were made and we were seen back in the office 2 days later. My pup's eye stabilized and we will be followed closely. I'm so impressed with Dr. Brandon. She is wonderful, compassionate, clearly highly capable and very dedicated.”
