“The room was smallish, but clean. The king bed was comfortable. The guy at the front desk was not friendly and acted put out if you had a question. Great location for hikes and skiing.”

“Probably the best deal in Packwood, at least in winter, if all you really need is a place to stay and won't be hanging out all day. Rather small rooms (2 people in the queen room I had would have been tight), but nice enough space. There is at least a common area on the first floor with some table space if you need it. The bathroom had gotten at least a partial update, but was very tight and awkward to move in.
The room cleaning was a bit lacking as I found residue from a prior guest's soap still on the side of the sink. The heater control was also exceptionally unintuitive with a vague attempt at adjusting by feel, except it seemed to work the opposite of what the label would indicate.
The location is just out of town enough to discourage walking to get food, especially when it's dark.”
