“I read your reviews. Im moving in a few days. I will be less than a half mile from Habitat. I need furniture, etc. I am elderly and handicapped. I. Dont know if you deliver or not. Maybe Habitat would know someone. I would be willing to pay someone. Im looking forward to coming into the store. I also love bargains.r r not.”
“Oh my gosh, this is just the best place in the world to go shopping for used items! It's one of my favorites, they help people with your donations and they're so nice! I got some good furniture deals here that I would have paid way more for if I had went to some other thrift store. I don't want to let the cat out of the bag, but this is my favorite used thrift store!”
“This place sells a variety of things, like baby bouncers, strollers, bassinets, wagons, shoes, sandals, boots, hats, Montessori toys, bath toys, baby clothes from premie, and UP, baby books, baby bowls/ plates, baby carriers, puppets, children learning activity toys, potty trainers etc.”
“I have driven by there hundreds of times! But finally stopped in and it was totally beyond happy that I did. I not only got windshield wipers for all of my vehicles, but I also got brand new Sealy, Posturepedic pillows, bedding, towels, bubbles for a bubble machine outdoor garden Decor. I was just bummed because I wanted to get this table and chairs or just the chairs because that’s all they had there but they only had one of the chairs and another set only had two when most dining room sets are at minimum 4 to 6 so that was a bummer and I had a similar incident with lighting and sconces only having one, so no matching pairs of things but the guy there that runs it not only is he easy on the eyes, but he greets you at the door he’s very informative and it doesn’t matter how many times you plus other people in the store have frequently ask him how much something is or ask him a question. He answers, right away with a positive tone, and ready with full detailed information I just can’t say enough! I’m definitely going back because there’s good prices there overall and again, the dude that runs it is awesome.”
“This is a fun place to shop and visit. always well organized and clean. It is a thrift store so you can't expect perfection but the prices are very low and reasonable. The staff are welcoming and friendly, especially for volunteers. I enjoy my visits.”
“Stopped in here today. I Don't live in the area but my Daughter does and was over visiting. I like to stop at thrift shops when I travel. Father and son were there, seemed friendly enough and was a good experience. Prices seemed good, I picked up a few books and was happy with what I paid. I like to keep a list of the places I visit and make a note of if I would shop there again or not if I am ever in the area. I'll go back here again next time I visit my Daughter.”
“Salvation Army got me through the hardest time of my life. They welcomed me into their chapel for service, allowed me to cry, to stay silent, to ramble! The lunch they provide is amazing! Everyday it's a special dish. Delicious. The activities are insanely fun. Bingo Wednesday, karaoke Friday, Diamond art, ceramics, Bible study, ASL.. so much! The food bank keeps you nourished! They do their best to stay full and to never let anyone go without a meal! The staff and volunteers are kind, compassionate, helpful people that just spread joy everywhere they go.”
“The Discovery Shop has alway been my favorite place to shop. Since I moved away my visits are less frequent but I ALWAYS gravitate to this unique and much appreciated shopping experience!”
“Meridian Cafe is the place to go in puyallup for breakfast. My first time going there this morning and it was packed full of hungry people. I ordered the small portion of biscuits and gravy and had to lwave half of it behind cause I was so full. My stomach couldn't take more. I'll be back”
“Great value, love the color tag sales! Who doesn't like 75% off. Staff was kind and helpful. They even called the other stores to find out if an item was still there.”
“I found this little store nestled in the Proctor district a few years ago. So I wandered in and took a look. Today I came back. It's a cute little store where you can find some really nice designer items at good prices. The staff has always been helpful and friendly. The store is always clean & presented beautifully. 2-18-2022”
“This is by far my favorite thrift store in Tacoma wa they have a little bit of everything and the prices are great! I love the books there’s always something interesting in this shop I never leave empty handed and I love the man who owns and runs it he’s a little quiet but so kind!”
“Kristen at Value Village is an absolute gem! Every time I visit, she goes above and beyond to make sure I have a great shopping experience. Her friendliness and willingness to help with anything I need are truly exceptional. I've seen her handle busy times with grace and always with a smile. Kristen is knowledgeable about the store's products and can always point me in the right direction.
What stands out most about Kristen is her genuine care for customers. Whether I'm looking for something specific or just browsing, she takes the time to engage and offer assistance. She remembers regular customers and makes everyone feel welcome. It's clear she loves what she does, and it shows in her interactions with both customers and colleagues.
Kristen is also incredibly efficient and organized. Even when the store is busy, she manages to keep things running smoothly. She has a keen eye for detail, ensuring the store is tidy and items are well-displayed. Her positive attitude is infectious, and she creates a pleasant shopping environment for everyone.
On multiple occasions, I've witnessed Kristen handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism. She remains calm under pressure and always finds a way to resolve issues to everyone's satisfaction. Her problem-solving skills are impressive, and she never hesitates to go the extra mile to ensure customers leave happy.
In summary, Kristen is a real asset to Value Village. Her exceptional customer service, work ethic, and positive attitude make shopping there a pleasure. Highly recommend seeking her out if you need assistance!”
“These guys know how to take care of their customers. Everything was easy and they returned calls and did everything they said they would. I highly recommend them.”

I would NOT have purchased these items had the employee the week befor told me i could RETURN FOR EVEN STORE CREDIT. wich is fine since i never miss a week shopping there it was my quiet place close to home. And most of the employees are amazing. .. so needless to say i wont be shopping there. With there over priced LIES”
“This is my go to local thrift store. There is always a good amount of clothing donations coming in and reasonably priced. I only wish they had a fitting room. Staff are always nice, helpful, and welcoming.”
“It’s a decent goodwill! It’s pretty small. And some items were surprisingly high priced for a thrift store. I will say though, they had a pretty nice selection of things, even new things still in box. Overall I had a nice experience.”
“Staff was very friendly! Witnessed 2 goodwill employees working with 2 special needs employees. They treated those young people like they were their own children. You 2 ladies are well qualitified and I applaud you all for making my day simply by being kind human beings. Thank you.”
“This is one of the last good thrift stores. They have daily sales and a huge selection of clothing. By the time the discounts are applied the prices are really reasonable. Mondays they have 50% off everything. The staff are very nice. This is my favorite thrift store these days. The local Goodwill’s prices have doubled over the last few years. Thrift city has better stuff at lower prices. I think they buy pallets of clothes, I find really high quality stuff sometimes!”
“Goodwill holds a special place in my heart, and for good reason – it's a treasure trove of endless possibilities! Every week, without fail, I find myself drawn to its welcoming doors, eager to embark on a new adventure of exploration and discovery.
What sets Goodwill apart is its remarkable ability to consistently deliver an ever-changing array of treasures. From clothing and accessories to home decor and kitchenware, there's always something new and exciting waiting to be unearthed. The thrill of stumbling upon a hidden gem is unparalleled, and it's a feeling I never tire of experiencing.
Moreover, the ethos of Goodwill resonates deeply with me. Not only does shopping here offer the opportunity to find unique items at affordable prices, but it also supports a worthy cause. Knowing that my purchases contribute to their mission of providing job training and employment opportunities for individuals in need adds an extra layer of fulfillment to the shopping experience.
In addition to the vast selection of goods, I also appreciate the organized layout and friendly staff at Goodwill. Navigating the aisles is a breeze, and the helpful employees are always on hand to assist with any questions or requests.
In conclusion, Goodwill is more than just a thrift store – it's a haven for treasure hunters and a beacon of hope for the community. With its ever-changing inventory and commitment to making a difference, it's no wonder I find myself returning week after week.”
“Always love going here. They have app on their service which is good because people can't steal from there anymore. But I love it here.I love the people that work here. And I like the selection of clothes”
“I don't live in this area but in the are this morning. I haven't been to a thrift store in a while. Really enjoy the hunt. Today I was looking for snow pants for my teenage sons. This store is not big but has a ton of great stuff. I was shocked to see how organized This store is. I was able to find what I was looking for pretty quickly thanks to their organization. The the BEST part...Cindy helped me checked out at the register. She was wonderful. She made conversation and made me feel like I had known her all my life. I'm literally writing this review moments after going into this store. I could have stood there and talked to her all day! She was delightful. I would totally shop here again. GREAT JOB CINDY! You made my day!”

“I get awesome textbooks and movies on major discount compared to major stores here. Love the staff, extremely nice and perky, excellent customer service. The company needs to pay them better and hire more folks though, the lines can get crazy.”
“Oh so nice this time when we shopped at 38th street, I do hope GW staff will be trained to know how to respect customers from now on. Actually I was surprised that Ms. Sarah, one of their staff did care my product which is easily fragile by wrapping the with paper sheet, although the product was not much expensive. I appreciate for her attitude.”
“* At 6th Ave Goodwill, luckily we today met the cashier INA who was so nice, so friendly to customers (Not like almost staff before treated customers so badly). We do wish Goodwill staff has such nice culture to clients as Miss. INA who is pretty too :)).
* The price of some products seems more reasonable nowadays.”
“My son and I are avid thrifters and this was our very first visit. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The store is exceptionally clean and organized. Great prices”
