“I always find something at Mission Thrift, and their staff is friendly. While prices aren't the lowest of stores I frequent, they're fair and there's usually some type of discount happening.”
“My son and I are avid thrifters and this was our very first visit. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The store is exceptionally clean and organized. Great prices”
“You will be hard pressed to meet nicer people than the employees at this place!

Maybe Habitat would know someone. I would be willing to pay someone. Im looking forward to coming into the store. I also love bargains.r r not.”
“Awesome store that has great deals on many different items. They post on their Facebook page when they get deliveries and you can see what they are adding to the shop. Will be back soon. Thanks”
“The staff here is friendly & helpful. This (& Ft Lewis Thrift Shop) offers consignment options. There is often new &/or gently used items sold here. These are both GREAT thrift shops to visit often.”
“This place sells a variety of things, like baby bouncers, strollers, bassinets, wagons, shoes, sandals, boots, hats, Montessori toys, bath toys, baby clothes from premie, and UP, baby books, baby bowls/ plates, baby carriers, puppets, children learning activity toys, potty trainers etc.”
“Salvation Army got me through the hardest time of my life. They welcomed me into their chapel for service, allowed me to cry, to stay silent, to ramble! The lunch they provide is amazing! Everyday it's a special dish. Delicious. The activities are insanely fun. Bingo Wednesday, karaoke Friday, Diamond art, ceramics, Bible study, ASL.. so much! The food bank keeps you nourished! They do their best to stay full and to never let anyone go without a meal! The staff and volunteers are kind, compassionate, helpful people that just spread joy everywhere they go.”
“Stopped in here today. I Don't live in the area but my Daughter does and was over visiting. I like to stop at thrift shops when I travel. Father and son were there, seemed friendly enough and was a good experience. Prices seemed good, I picked up a few books and was happy with what I paid. I like to keep a list of the places I visit and make a note of if I would shop there again or not if I am ever in the area. I'll go back here again next time I visit my Daughter.”
“The Discovery Shop has alway been my favorite place to shop. Since I moved away my visits are less frequent but I ALWAYS gravitate to this unique and much appreciated shopping experience!”
“Huge place, packed with treasures, if you're willing to dig a bit. If you're looking for the feel of a garage sale but with tons more stuff, this is it! Plenty of stuff to pick through, a little disorganized, but it adds to the charm.”
“Meridian Cafe is the place to go in puyallup for breakfast. My first time going there this morning and it was packed full of hungry people. I ordered the small portion of biscuits and gravy and had to lwave half of it behind cause I was so full. My stomach couldn't take more. I'll be back”
“Great value, love the color tag sales! Who doesn't like 75% off. Staff was kind and helpful. They even called the other stores to find out if an item was still there.”
“It’s a decent goodwill! It’s pretty small. And some items were surprisingly high priced for a thrift store. I will say though, they had a pretty nice selection of things, even new things still in box. Overall I had a nice experience.”
“Best thrift store in the Tacoma/UP area. It is clean, bright, safe, and there is a steady stream of new merchandise going out on the floor almost daily. I'm removing one star because their prices have gone up so much over the last few months. I get that there is inflation, but they get the stuff for free, so I don't really see that as a driving force to balloon the prices as much as they have.”
“So i have been shopping here for YEARS.. the other day i finally found out that you can return if it dont work or broke. Today for the first time i tried returning 2 young child Christmas outfits that were to small.. and clearly over priced. To only had been told nope sorry we dont do that with Christmas stuff. Wich totally is NOT posted. I would NOT have purchased these items had the employee the week befor told me i could RETURN FOR EVEN STORE CREDIT. wich is fine since i never miss a week shopping there it was my quiet place close to home. And most of the employees are amazing. .. so needless to say i wont be shopping there. With there over priced LIES”
“Staff was very friendly! Witnessed 2 goodwill employees working with 2 special needs employees. They treated those young people like they were their own children. You 2 ladies are well qualitified and I applaud you all for making my day simply by being kind human beings. Thank you.”
“This is by far my favorite thrift store in Tacoma wa they have a little bit of everything and the prices are great! I love the books there’s always something interesting in this shop I never leave empty handed and I love the man who owns and runs it he’s a little quiet but so kind!”
“Great place to thrift! Customer service is great theyre patient and helpful even if theyre busy. Huge selections onnclothing for everyone! They even have electronics, stuff like wii remotes and tvs That other thrifts dont carry anymore. If youre needing something, good chance youll find it here. All the prices arent the best, and some of it doesnt exactly make sense. But if youre aware of how to shop and use their coupons it ends up being great! Better than goodwill to me. If youre donating, thank you! They dont accept big furniture though so be aware of that. Great place to shop, bring hand sanitizer ?”
“I love thrift city. I work out at the gym across the street and visit frequently. I’ve found amazing deals on nearly everything. The workers are kind and merch is top notch thrifting. The taco bus in the parking lot slaps too.”
“I was half tempted not to even go here because of all the vagrants around the building on the outside. didn't look it safe to park at but I did anyways and it's mainly women stepping this store location lots of clothes I mean lots and lots and lots of clothes”
“Impressively clean and organized. Nice staff. Was hoping to find more rain gear and better selection of women’s jeans, but we were happy with the other purchases we made. Prices seemed alright.”

“I get awesome textbooks and movies on major discount compared to major stores here. Love the staff, extremely nice and perky, excellent customer service. The company needs to pay them better and hire more folks though, the lines can get crazy.”
“I normally hate shopping at goodwill because they can feel unorganized, dirty and chaotic. But this store is far from any of that! I love how clean and organized everything is. You can see the effort they put in to make this store be at its best.”
“It’s always been amazing there. You find amazing deals and fines. Staff is always friendly never had an issue there and they really do have some of the best stuff you can buy.”
“I find the best women's items and glassware! There's not a lot in terms of shoes, bags, and men's, but there's still a lot of good stuff. Everyone who works there is also super friendly. Just be patient finding parking.”
“A reliable and well-managed business. They operate with professionalism, communicate clearly, and follow through. Highly recommended if you have the opportunity to work with them.”
“I haven't been in since the pandemic began. First time back today. Wow it's changed. More things. Lots of ppl there shopping today. Items overall seemed to be of better quality. Monday wed and sat is 50% off everything in store.”
