North By Northwest Surf Co. is a wonderful and awesome shop, widely considered the best place for surf rentals. It is known for its very friendly, helpful, and super knowledgeable staff who are welcoming and go above and beyond. The rental process is quick, easy, and flexible with fair prices, offering board and wetsuit packages. The shop has a really well-stocked selection to rent and buy, is open every day including winter, and features an after-hours drop-off box. It is highly recommended for both newbie surfers and families, perfectly representing surf culture and getting customers excited about the sport.
Absolutely wonderful customer service. Chill vibe that brought me back decades to when I was a teen in my local shop. I don't live in PA, but it was well worth my 30 min drive to get there.
