“Great ship supply store but you must know what you’re getting into first.
1.) This is a store for PROFESSIONALS! Yes, it’s open to the public but their primary clientele are professional boat people; painters, epoxy people, trades, etc.
2.) There are no prices on anything. Again, most people buying here are pros using accounts. They don’t care what the prices are.
3.) Their focus is very much geared toward marine paint, epoxy, fiberglass, and a bit of engine maintenance. They have an extremely small selection of clothing, books, and other boating stuff. If you want marine electronics, PFDs, trailer stuff, fishing stuff, etc… you need to go to West Marine or Fisheries Supply.
But… if you want epoxy or paint or any of the supplies for those, then this is your store!”
“Dave is an outstanding technician! Knowledgeable, professional, and a genuinely nice guy. This is the professional you want troubleshooting and solving your propane issues!”
“I recklessly posted a improper review when the house was cold and had been cold for 5 days. I reacted too quickly and I do apologize. As we have had this service for many years, it came to pass that indeed they showed up and as always professional. Craig is outstanding in his service..I did remove the previous post and again... maybe it was the cold that prompted my temper to get away from me. I apologize.”
“Always helpful & nice, good stock, my only complaint is that prices are going up and they're doing that everywhere so I really can't complain. Good store all the way around.”
“I have a home-handyman shop and do misc. mig. I attended Renton Tech for my classes some years back. I have a Miller 211 and quite some time ago was brazing daily in order to make and sell brass and copper artworks at many art shows. I bought my 211 from Lynnwood and have purchased misc. items through Port Townsend. I found Jeremy at Lynnwood and Ryan at Port Townsend to be exceptionally helpful and patient. I am not a welding professional and sometimes I struggle to understand welding products and processes I have not worked with previously. With that in mind, I especially appreciate that these fellows have always taken the time to help me advance my knowledge and make the best purchase decisions.”
