We came to this vineyard after spontaneously deciding to visit some wineries in Port Townsend. Assuming it was going to be a more “commercial” winery where you order a wine flight at the counter, we were met with an experience far more valuable. Kit greeted us as we pulled in and stopped his yard work to take us on a tour of the vineyards, teaching us about the entire process from planting seeds to then taking us through the production and bottling stages.
Both Kit and Claire, and their dogs Pippin and Bowen, were the best hosts and we are so grateful to have stumbled upon their little Italian oasis. We had the best time talking with them both about really everything, playing with the dogs, and enjoying the delicious wine that we’ve been talking about since.
Thank you both so much for an incredible afternoon! Don’t be like us – make sure to call ahead before visiting Sailor Vineyards!

This is truly a treasure. When you're in Port Townsend this is a must. True estate wine. Winemakers are true artist. Words really cannot describe this beautiful vineyard & wine. Every time I'm in town I call & visit this vineyard it's a 1 of 1 none before none to come. Just the finest. So Awesome.
