Great bunch of employees. Very patient and super knowledgeable. They helped my husband and I find the right e-bike for our needs then explained everything to us and made sure we knew how to operate it correctly. Highly recommended!

This is a great little bike shop! I bought an e-bike here last weekend and I'm super happy so far. Dan helped me with the purchase and he was fabulous - friendly and kind and very knowledgeable about all kinds of bikes! He also helped install the new mirror and water bottle cage I bought along with the bike. I was able to easily test ride the bike and test it out on nearby hilly roads. I highly recommend The Broken Spoke!

I do not recommend this shop for bike repairs of any kind. If you want a new bike or a rental, it could be right for you.I brought my GT Backwoods Sport mountain bike in because it was in need of some work. The head guy there, Pete checked it out very briefly and told me that the front wheel needed to be replaced as well as the shifters in addition to the tune up that it needed. He told me that it would cost as much as a new Trek Marlin to the tune of $600. He essentially told me that my bike was not worth fixing and he sent me a quote for a brand new bike. I'm so glad that I checked out my other options in town because I feel like I was lied to.I went to Velo Cats and they repaired the wheel, the broken shifter, and gave the bike a full tune up including new cables and housing for less than $200. It took them less than a week to repair it and that the front hub only had some slight pitting and the trigger shifter just needed to be serviced. I'm back on the road and the bike feels great! No thanks to Broken Spoke.The Broken Spoke will try to sell you new parts or a new bike and doesn't seem to value breathing new life back into older bikes. Planned obsolescence does not align with my values so I will not be supporting this shop in the future. Go to the Re-Cyclery or Velo Cats if you value employee-owned and volunteer run organizations that truly work to support their community.

Went in for a tire fix, and instead of them charging me $15 per tire, they showed me how to do it myself and sold me what I needed to do it, which was the cheaper fix. Great place, with integrity. I'll be a loyal customer and recommend them highly.

These guys were great, took their time to answer questions and make some adjustments to my bike. We were from out of town camping at Fort Worden, wanted to raise my handlebars but weren't going to be in town long enough for them to get to it so they included the part number on the receipt for a couple of other purchases so I could get the part from my local bike shop. Will visit again next time we are in town!!

We have recently purchased two bikes and some gear at the Broken Spoke. We loved our experience!!! Great people…knowledgeable, kind and helpful!! We are super lucky to have this shop in our community!! Would highly recommend it to anyone!!

I have purchased a bike, rented bikes, and had multiple bikes (road, mountain and tandem) serviced at The Broken Spoke. The service has been excellent, timely, and at a fair price. I highly recommend them!!

We rented two hybrid bikes from the Broken Spoke. I had called a couple of days previously (on the worlds worst phone line) and got everything sorted out and paid for. When we arrived - there were the bikes all ready for us.I had planned to cycle back to Sequim - and had noticed (on the way to Port Townsend) that it wasn't the world's most bike friendly route - when I mentioned this - the guy helping us with the bikes (so sorry I didn't get his name) told me a much more sensible route. So massive thanks for saving me from a traumatic ride home!The bikes were in very good condition - lovely and clean with no weird squeaks or quirks.Thank you so much for everything!

High quality bike products and friendly and knowledgeable customer service. A top notch local bike store!We have gotten a bike trailer (The Bee) and multiple helmets for our family (adult, toddler and child sizes) that have all held up beautifully and been great on adventures!

What a great shop!!I'm very satisfied with the overall level of service from the friendly/helpful staff. Brought a bike in for repairs and, after they worked on it, it's now riding better than ever : )
