First off, contact the team at the lodge in advance to check it works for them when you want to visit, they were super helpful and gave me a range of days and times, and let me know I was welcome to go round the property and take some photos.
The lodge is amazing, the grounds are incredible, it is an amazing location, I see why so many events happen there.
As a Twin Peaks fan, getting to see inside the lodge, the real interior of the Great Northern Hotel was amazing, it really hasn’t changed at all. Additionally at the rear both the exterior for Pete and Catherine’s home and the iconic Laura’s Log… wrapped in plastic!

“My husband and I just got married here in July 2026 and had the best experience working with Denise and Kevin at Courter Country Farm. From our first meeting to the wedding day, Denise and Kevin went above and beyond in every capacity. They were so personable and generous and we felt so cared for during the entire process. We chose their Gold Rose Weekend Package which allowed us to use the farm for the entire weekend. Denise and Kevin did all the setup and cleanup, the florals (which Denise planted and arranged and were absolutely stunning) and bartending for both the rehearsal and the wedding, helped with the entire planning process the year before, and Denise served as our day of coordinator on the wedding day. Their attention to detail, communication, and how they helped us bring our vision of our wedding to life was beyond exceptional. Here are a just a few examples of this. They knew there would be kids at our wedding so Denise planned a scavenger hunt complete with a prize box and created a coloring page featuring us as bride and groom for them to color. They returned all of the men’s rental suits so we didn’t have to the day after our wedding. They prepared a breakfast spread and lunch for our entire wedding party. We could say so much more. So many of our guests told us that it was one of the most beautiful wedding experiences they’d ever attended and this was in large part due to everything Denise and Kevin put into our day. If you’re looking for a place to host any special event in a beautiful outdoor location with the most genuine and personable of hosts, look no further.
