Staff is knowledgeable and helpful, but the operating hours are extremely inconvenient. The office closes at 6:30 p.m. even though a regularly full flight from Seattle arrives around 7:00 p.m. It works fine if your flight happens to land during their limited hours, but if you’re even slightly delayed—or on that common evening flight—you’re out of luck. Extended hours aligned with actual flight schedules would make a huge difference.

Recently just rented a car from the LAX airport last week and I waited an over an hour in line just to get to counter to pickup my car. I prepaid for the vehicle over the phone prior to pickup and I was asked if I would be using their liability insurance and I declined and said I would be using my own. Then again during pickup they asked me the same question and I said no I will be using my own and this was discussed during pickup. Now a week later I go to pay my credit card balance and I see there is almost a $100 charge. I had no idea what this charge was for, never received an email statement or anything. So I call budget and they tell me this charge is for their liability insurance. I declined twice for their insurance and still got charged, there was no mention of this during pickup and Budget was definitely not transparent what so ever.

Exceptional Service – Jason Went Above and Beyond!
I can't say enough good things about the service I received from Jason at Budget. He truly went above and beyond to help me out of a tough spot.
I had never flown into Pullman before and tried to reserve a rental car online the day before my trip, but nothing was available. This seemed to simply be a glitch, however, as the message I received indicated that the rental starting time was after hours. But according to Google, the rental counters would still be open when my flight landed, so I figured I’d try my luck in person. Unfortunately, both rental counters HAD actually closed by the time I arrived. And with virtually no Ubers, taxis, or other transportation options in the area, I found myself completely stranded.
Desperate, I called the number posted at the counter, not expecting much. To my surprise, Jason answered (even though he had already gone home for the evening). After I explained the situation, he didn’t hesitate. He actually drove back to the airport to personally help me get a car.
Jason’s willingness to return after hours and help someone he didn’t know is the kind of customer service you rarely see anymore. What could have been a stressful and frustrating night turned into a reminder that there are still people who truly care. I’m incredibly grateful for his kindness and professionalism.

Had an absolutely awful interaction with the hertz rental counter (the employee left 5 hrs earlier and flaked on an appointment we had made). Jason (the budget employee) was extremely helpful trying to find a work around for hertz's ineptitude. I used budget before and with no hassel. I will be using them again thanks to my interaction today with Jason!

They are dishonest! In July, I rented a Kia Sorento in Gainesville, FL to spend my vacation at the beach. I planned to return the Kia at the Tampa, FL airport and pick up a minivan to move to the western US with my family. Since my suitcases and boxes were in the Kia, I first went to the counter to pick up the minivan and exchange cars in the parking lot. But the attendant in Tampa, FL made an absurd mistake. She completed the entire minivan rental process, and after swiping my card, she said she couldn't give me the minivan because I had to return the Kia first. So that's what I did, but the charge had already been made, and she wanted to charge me again. In other words, I had paid for the vehicle, but I didn't have the vehicle. The manager, trying to help, extended the Kia rental I had just returned but gave me the minivan. She said I should stop by any Budget location along the way within two days to adjust the reservation. I did that, but no one knew how to resolve it. Not even customer service. I had two options: either return the car and leave my things and family on the street or continue to my final destination (the original plan of my reservation) and try to resolve it there. Naturally, I chose to continue because I trusted the company's integrity. My naivety! In the end, they charged me more than double the amount I had already paid and even added a late return fee. I have no words to describe how shocked I am by Budget's negligence and incompetence in resolving this issue. For me, Budget NEVER AGAIN.

2nd time renting a vehicle from this location. Jason refused to do a walk around with me and would not release the keys until I signed the inspection form prior to a walk around. I signed "Under Duress." I took a video right outside the airport and then went back inside to address the multiple dings, dents, and scratches. Jason updated their copy and "let me take a pic" Both Wipers torn-in the PNW!! We get all 4 seasons in 1 day. When I left the airport the truck had 282mi remaining before empty (see pic) when I filled up prior to returning the truck, the estimated mileage before empty was 379 miles! This was only a few miles after filling up back to the airport! Never again will I use this location. I would rather pay more for the competition. Consumers be aware of these heinous practices at the Pullman, WA Budget/Avis Rental.

This is the only place in Moscow/Pullman to rent a car. The others are either not available or not honest about location and apparently also about their inventory. The budget workers had no one ways and worked magic and got me something anyways. Don't waste your time going anywhere else!

This is the worst place, NEVER EVER rent a car from BUDGET in Pullman. They don’t open up on time and then talk RUDELY and continuously ARGUE with their customers. The person started arguing with me when I told him I have a flight to catch and if he could process things sooner. There are 2 counters and nobody assists you on time on either of them. Worst customer service ever. No cars available, when we got the car the representative Jason is telling us it’s low on pressure and we need to take care of it, the car given to us , a Honda Fit was not even in the state so you could drive it out of the airport!!! This is what you get if you book a car in advance at Pullman Budget. So even if you book in advance it’s you who has to take care of everything cause they wont, and if you try to tell them they both will argue with you. Did not expect this from Budget, henceforth never ever rent a car with them. Both the representatives discriminated me and my husband.

Extremely POOR customer service! When car broke down and was completely undrivable, took ~5 hours to get the tow truck to pick up the car. Was hung up on many times as Budget could not FIND the car nor my rental agreement in their records even though it was rented the day before! Asked to speak with a manager, and was hung up on! Road side assistance was a joke! They too did not anwser my calls; web page was helpful but misleading as were the text messages. Missed the event I had planned to attend as well as loss of hotel for the overnight stay. Had to return to the airport to get the replacement car the next day as the tow truck delivered the car to their Service Center after hours. Total mess! Get car rental insurance if you plan to use AVIS/Budget!!

Terrible rates was quoted 980.00 for 10 days in Las vegas Airport rentals i was told that was the cheapest last time I checked that was more then 95$ per day never again
