“I needed to change my dropoff location from Pullman to Spokane, a simple ask that the people at the 800 number were not able to accomplish - they couldn't even find the reservation. Using the vehicle number, Troy in Pullman (PUW) was able to do in less than 2 minutes what 10 minutes of waiting on the 800 number was not able to accomplish. The 800 number could not even find the reservation. Being able to connect to real local people who are superstars like Troy is priceless. Having the Pullman direct phone number on Google made this happen quickly. He not only did this quickly and with a great, positive attitude, he did it one-handed. Next trick for Troy: Doing it blindfolded - I'll bet he can do it :)”

“My husband and I have consistently received great service from this Hertz location. We have rented vehicles from this location two times, in early August for WSU move-in and in late October for WSU Parent's Weekend. For both dates, we made our vehicle reservation early, knowing that the Pullman airport is small yet accommodates a large number of passengers coming to WSU. Both times, we worked with a kind and professional Asian woman who is either the sole Hertz counter employee or manager. I wish I could recall her name (I'm bad with remembering names), because she is very helpful. On one occasion, our arrival was close to midnight and we worried how we would obtain our vehicle keys. We called the location and left a message. She returned our call and provided instructions for retrieval. Another time, our rental return was very early in the morning because of our flight and again, she provided very easy and clear instructions for the return. Finally, there was an occasion when we didn't rent a vehicle and we were rolling our suitcases and belongings at the front entrance of the airport. The same kind woman was leaving for the day, offered to drive us to our Courtyard hotel (our hotel shuttle was coming to pick us up). We were so impressed with her kindness. She certainly goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service and she is one of the reasons why we choose Hertz. The vehicles we have rented are clean and well-maintained. We do understand that there are times when she is busy at the service desk and that is an obvious expectation when you arrive at a small airport. Patience and politeness go a long way. It is nice to know after a long day of flights and when all you want to do is go to your hotel, a friendly face is there to greet us and our Hertz car rental is ready. Thank you so much!
