We booked a room with them a couple days in advance. Day of the booking they cancel my reservation due to being “overbooked”. In their cancellation policy it mentions that if they cancel your reservation, they have to accommodate and put you in another place to stay, during our phone call they did not mention that at all. The reason they cancelled the reservation was because I didnt check in early enough and they would’ve preferred to sell the room to someone else. After going to the hotel and complaining, they miraculously had space, amazing. 0/10, do not stay here.
I cannot reply to the response below, but no that’s incorrect, we received a cancellation email day of. We appreciate you working with us to make it right but this was handled extremely poorly.

April Franklin the hotel operations manager was extremely dismissive and disrespectful.
My girlfriend and I had booked a room for 3 nights at this hotel mainly because they “welcome” pets and after had informed the receptionist that we had two big dogs , they had let us know that we would have to pay a pet deposit ( which we were more than happy to pay ) for the dogs we had. Upon arrival and inspection of the room we had noticed stains on the bed skirts , stains on the sheets and hair under the blankets on the beds, previously used towels dirty and laying on the back of the toilet in the bathroom, the shower /tub was dirty with what appeared to be yellow stains, Dirt and dander on surfaces and floors. We had decided that we would absolutely not be staying one minute longer there and would go to the office to get a refund and inform the manager that we were no longer interested in staying at the hotel, upon asking for our refund the manager April Franklin had very rudely told me that she would send a housekeeper to look at the condition of the room and that there was no way the room was in such condition. I had entered the room with said housekeeper and showed her what I was talking about to which she replied “yes that is nasty I don’t think this has been cleaned in a while “ even after this information was brought to April Franklin she was very rude and informed me that we would not be getting a refund because we already had brought the dogs inside of the hotel room(These dogs have been crated in the room since we got there for all of 10 minutes(freshly bathed show dogs) and that we would have to dispute it with our bank because she was not going to give us our money back. I absolutely do not recommend giving this place a try. It was very disgusting and very offputting attached are some pictures of said stains and condition of room.

I judged this place too quick and harsh from what I thought was going to be some highway motel. Everything is renovated and clean, the bed is super comfortable, and the bathroom is super spacious even for a single bedroom. Also, something people don't talk about, but should, is the toilets are a good size for all the junk. No head to porcelain issues if ya get me. Good width too if you got a lot of trunk space. A+ for the bathroom. The manager April is a great hostess and very accommodating.

We were looking for a location close to the fairgrounds (walking distance) and affordable. The Basecamp was both. The rooms looked updated and the bed was comfy. The room was clean except for the floors which made the bottoms of our feet dirty. The outside stairs were slanted as well as the pathways on each floor. The hotel is right next to a busy road and we heard traffic all night including the occasional siren. I like noise when I sleep so this didn’t bother me but you would probably want to choose another hotel if you’re looking for quiet. The front desk was helpful to all my questions. There was coffee available in the lobby each morning and possibly all day as well as vending machines

Decent motel. First room didn't have working A/C and got moved into one with a kitchenette. The walls are very thin, and the doors in both rooms had a gap large enough to let in a ridiculous amt of exterior noise. Nice for the price though.

Rooms were very nice and clean, showers were hot, and had comfortable beds. Outside makes it look less appealing and you hear a lot of road noise with hospital behind it. Also, no elevator if need it to go up to 2nd and 3rd floor.

Rooms are nice and beds are comfortable but first this place is facing highway and you will hear the noise from outside all night long not to mention ambulance and fire truck. I felt like I was sleeping on the sidewalk . Second , we had no hot water during morning since they told us that their tank is leaking and they have to shut it off. So had a cold shower that morning. GOOD LUCK .

Rooms are clean and remodeled. We enjoyed the all white bedding. The bathroom was clean. The only thing we did not like the stairway and the outside look. Looked all beat up. The proximity to very busy street was making it convenient but on other hand noisy. There was TV with ton of programing and coffee maker (pods) and small fridge. Nice artwork on the wall. The price was excellent. The bed was comfortable.

The hotel is fine, but every good thing about it is brought down by the road noise. Puyallup has to have the most concentrated amount of obnoxious truck owners and bikers in the nation.
And unfortunately for this hotel, there is absolutely nothing that can stop the onslaught of vehicle noise that goes on all day and all night.

Let's be honest here. I just checked after a 3 day stay there and to be quite frank. I have absolutely nothing bad to say and I'm super picky at a lot of things when it comes to staying at hotels/motels. My room(123) was super clean, no ants or bugs of any kind. No mold and the air quality was good in my opinion. The sheets and bedding were clean and everything felt top tier. I arrived late after work around 2am and the lady that handled the front desk was super informative and kind. I didn't come across this man everyone speaks so I'll of lately and I did bump into a guy during checkout and even he was nice. The outside noise was non existent I slept peacefully for 3 days because I got sick. All I can say is I was well taken care of from the moment I checked in till I left.. great job, and definitely will be coming back here again. Thank you Basecamp puyallup. Seriously, I'm a happy customer.
