Mel Korum Family YMCA is known for a nice gym with newer and advanced equipment. The Y offers programs to enable youth to realize potential, help adults commit to healthy lifestyle, and connect older adults to community. The Y gives back over $14 million a year in financial assistance and subsidized programs to make sure that everyone can access life‑changing programs at the Y. Many visitors praise the cleanest, friendliest, and most helpful staff. Front desk staff greet with a big smile on arrival and departure. Instructors are kind and welcoming, especially for kids. The Y has a great place for kids to play baseball and other sports, teaching simple basic game mechanics in a fun environment. Summer day camp is praised for wonderful friendly staff who are very helpful, welcoming, and kind to the kids. Some concerns about the steamroom in the Men’s lockeroom and sanitation are noted, and residents ask for better hygiene. Overall, the Y is highly recommended.
We love the YMCA! The staff are friendly, the facility is clean, and there are great programs for all ages. A wonderful place for fitness and family activities.
