If I could give 10 STARS I would! Since moving to the community January 2022, Ocean Shores Timberland Bank customer service has been BEYOND outstanding! Disabled husband with wife still working, getting by week to week watching every penny a bad actor somewhere tried to steal every thing from us. No, we are not part of the "elite entitled rich upperclass" paycheck to paycheck is more accurate. Timberland stepped up and handled this B.S. in 1 day! Thank you, sincerely, to the entire Team at Timberland.

I received my final statement from Timberland in the mail and the information contained on it was pathetic. This was supposed to be my March statement. I would say about 3/4 of the account interactions were not listed on my statement. Fortunately, my new bank captured the transactions. When I banked with Umpqua, I had access to my closed account to download statements for a couple of months after closure. The same with American Express. These people closed my internet access THE DAY I closed my account. I was not able to download my statements or anything else. When asked, I was told that it was "fraud prevention". What BS. Over the year that I have had an account with them, I found these people condescending and rude. Customer Service is of secondary concern to them. The March statement I received only confirms that. After interacting with them over the past year, I am sure others feel the same. Happy to be rid of Timberland. If I could give them no stars, I would.

I, too, am having difficulty with the South Hill Branch of Timberland. We have a business account and they like to hold our deposits for 3-7 business days. That is NOT helpful to a small business. We also applied for a personal construction loan, we were approved, and yet we are in loan purgatory with NO communication from Bryan or anyone else. Customer Service is NOT priority with this bank.UPDATE: I just received a phone call from Mr. Paul Long, he actually cared enough to fix my banking issues. My 1 star immediately turns to 5 because he took the time to turn this around. I am no longer a frustrated customer, I am a happy one. Thank you for your attention to detail and provide quality customer service! I am happy to change my review!!

I have banked here for 18 years. The Spanaway and Tacoma branches are amazing! Since moving to Puyallup we have had nothing but issues with the South Hill branch. The customer service is horrible at best. They are slow and rude. Every time I have to go to the bank there is another issue, from not being able to cash checks, to my card being flagged for fraud in THEIR ATM, to waiting 15 minutes to cash two checks. Even though it will be a massive pain, I am now looking for another bank and will close my accounts just as soon as I can. @TimberlandBank, you should talk to your people in South Hill.

We have only been in the area for less than 1 year. We don't have a lot of options for banking because of where we live, so after a little bit of comparing accounts, we chose Timberland. BIG MISTAKE!! This bank is the worst when it comes to servicing their customers. No third party checks, could not open an account for our older son, who lives at home, unless he can verify his address with a utility bill!?!?!? He is 18, he is not on the utility bill because he doesn't pay the utilities!!! Duh! Our younger son, received some birthday money in the form of a check, after a call to the head office, I was told they would cash it this one time, but that I would have to sign the back as well as him in case the check bounced it would come out of my account?!?!?! I set up our bill pay for our account, but with having so many issues with this bank, decided to instead transfer the money into our other bank and pay bills from there. Last week, I received an email stating that they have closed my bill pay use because I have not used it in awhile?!?! REALLY!! I cringed every time I need to go to the bank as it is always something with them. What good is a bank that you can't do banking at??? Look forward to finding a "new" bank where they take care of their customers.

Our experience with Timberland started good but ended rough. We have been working with Bryan who is the manager of the branch on our construction/home loan. We have been trying to get ahold of him for weeks with no response. Communication is pretty important when doing a home loan. I would avoid using Timberland Bank or at least the Puyallup branch.

Been banking here for years. Good bank, the staff is competent and friendly. The only teller that gives me trouble is Tammy. She needs to take some customer service classes but the rest of the crew is good.

I am disabled from the H1N1. Recently, I've had to take over doing a family member needing help with their checking account too. This has been a challenge for me. I have been with timberland Bank for a couple decades. When I needed help the most they stepped in and helped me now it's been a couple times.I want them to know how appreciated they are and what wonderful people they continue to be.. I never expected help that I have received from the Puyallup Timberland South Hill Branch. They have gone up and beyond what I ever expected thank you so very much. I had wrote one on a professional level. It seem so stiff. It would surprise me if I was there only story. But I thank you for all you've done to help me. With out your kindness I couldn't have gotten thru it. Stay safe..God bless....
