“I love perusing the shelves at Brick & Mortar Books! The store has a warm, cozy ambiance. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They offer a nice selection of books and a variety of other items such as greeting cards, games, puzzles, tea, candles, art supplies, stationery, fun novelty items, and more. I appreciate that they carry products from local PNW businesses. You can also get a loyalty stamp card where you earn $20 to spend in-store for every $200 you spend! They host many author events, along with genre-based book clubs, and fun summer reading challenges. I'm super grateful to have this independent bookstore near me! ❤”

This Reading Room is sponsored by First Church of Christ, Scientist, Redmond. Christian Science Reading Rooms are open to everyone, not just Christian Scientists. Similar to libraries or bookstores, they offer a place to read, pray, gain inspiration, and borrow or purchase Bibles and other Christian Science literature, which aims to shed fresh light on the spiritual meaning of the Bible and one’s relationship with God.
