“I exclusively buy all our meat from B&E. You can do the math yourself. Their packs are superior in quality and price compared to EVERY SINGLE grocery store in all of King County. Whats even greater is the amazing customer service. They always treat my kids like royalty and Someone is always checking on me while I wait for my order to be packed up. The selection is always on point and they always have a great seasonal selection of offerings that are exciting.”

“I love this place! It is a wonderful steak house with gracious service and tasty steaks. We often enjoy the bar where the house burger and the martini's are delicious. Start with the chicory salad. Crunchy and full of flavor, a salad you don't find on anyone else's menu.Justin, the GM is engaging and happy to accommodate any request. One big plus, is street parking! There are usually plenty of spots available directly outside the door.If you are in the mood for a delicious perfectly served steak, this is THE spot!Thank you crew of Butcher's Table, we love you!”

“This is a great local butcher with lots of options and even more wisdom on how to cook, prepare and select meat. They don’t just have protein. You can also find cheese, eggs, vegetables, bones, sauces, rubs, spices, jerky, landjaeger‘s, and much more. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable and there is enough differently prepared meat here to keep your mealtime interesting for a long time.”

“I absolutely love Bob's. I've been twice and both times had amazing staff help and amazing products! I used a smoked turkey leg in my collard greens and a boneless chuck roast for a stew. Prior to that I bought a lamb of rack from them. Always fantastic meat and flavor, my Texan heart feels warmed with their delicious offerings.”

“I live in Belltown, and I love coming down here for most of my weekly meat products. They have an amazing selection, good prices, and it’s a great experience buying from them every time. I cook often and it feels great to work with such consistently high quality ingredients.”

“This review is strictly for the meat market side of the establishment. So many different cuts of meat and from the multiple times we've been here, everything has always been fresh and delicious. We always bring our own bag but when checking out we get charged 10 cents. Frustrating to correct that "error" repeatedly since we come here twice a month.”

“UPDATED MARCH 2024Well, folks, this is still a wonderful place to procure your specialty meats and fresh or smoked salmon, plus all the other nifty proteins in the refrigerated case. This most recent visit we picked up some filet mignons, stupidly overcooked them a bit, but the meat was still wonderful and tender. Then we had to have some bacon. Let me warn you, if you like to leisurely cook bacon for a crowd by putting it in the oven on a rack in a sheet pan, your house will take on the irresistible aroma of a smokehouse full of bacon! Your breakfast guests will then be lucky if you save a piece for them. Really tasty, thick, salty but not too salty bacon. Still fantastic, all around!2023 Review:For everything from a weeknight burger to a wedding dinner, these folks have what you want for sublime and celebratory meals! We've tried their candied salmon, their fresh salmon, the burgers, and most recently a whomping huge tenderloin of beef for a holiday meal. Everything we've enjoyed so much! The beef tenderloin roast is hands down a new fave. The way it was trimmed and dressed allowed us to concentrate on how we wanted to cook and serve it. We never even had to sharpen our knives to trim off silverskin or gristle. It was ready done. Once cooked, that meat was so buttery tender it was amazing. Well worth the splurge!”

“Don't let LB prices scare you away, this shop has the goods; some of the best cured meats I've ever eaten! Their aged Waygu Braesola is truly on another level and their house Copa is simple, pure and perfect. Still have a grass fed hangar steak to cook tonight and Sage breakfast sausage for the AM (full links for about $2 a piece!), but the cured stuff has redefined my standard for charcuterie lol, don't think I can do boars head pre-packs again when I can get a QP of either of these for around $10 and get 10x the flavor and care. Will be back for sure”

“This is a great store for grocery needs but it's easy to miss with its modest signage, a single door pane is often open and no windows and its allocation is easy to drive right by because you're on a main street. However, it's also easy if you are walking by or exercising, walking forward, walking backwards, jogging, running or doing cartwheels... it's uphill a bit or down from you...beats fighting traffic, always. They have a small parking lot and it's all a manageable size and endeavor for many of your list items. If you're looking for Vietnamese food, herb, canned items, Pacific fresh seafood or Vietnamese instant coffee or relics this is an easy, dependable stop and they've got a kind and hardworking crew. They already supply many of the produce for some of the restaurants close by where you may have eaten last evening or where you will eat tonight. Not shopping for Vietnamese ingredients? No problem. Unfamiliar with such fare but require some delicious, fresh fish, meats like beef, pork belly bacon you will find this store FUNfamiliar and Dong Hing has those proteins too. Butchers are on site, scales for clams by the pound are available and if someone doesn't speak english just ask another customer or one of the nice stock ladies. These ladies are everywhere rolling dollies around with boxes and these ladies are just as tough as they are beautiful and they will help you if you're polite. One of these young ladies helped me find the right instant coffee last time. Thank you, again. Personally, I find the vegetable and fruit selection outstanding considering the overall size of the grocery market. THIS IS KEY- the fact that Vietnamese culture is a shopping daily culture, cooking at home is a sport and fresh ingredients are instrumental in Vietnamese recipes which make such selections reliably FRESHER and CONSISTENTLY AVAILABLE so you may select your fruits and vegetables FASTER and EASIER. This fact means they have an aggressive purchasing power so greater quantities are rotated faster, cleaner and their capture clientele demands it so they have more in relative quantity than most western grocery markets three times their size! I recently bought some oranges and bok choy and they were fantastic. The store area is nearly halfway full of ALL freshness between protein, veggies+herbs and fruit. Not only is this place clean, it smells like it too and much less spoiling of produce or brown, yellowing twigs of herbs, fronds and less sifting for the last one or two of something that resembles a crown of broccoli or a carrot that's not an heirloom carrot because it's turning purple, lol. The sellers are committed to this clientele and often that's the first fruit they get, so to speak. Save time, support you and the local micro economy as you shop here too in addition to the other markets in this community. By supporting these families and the International District you retain it's experience-an experience unlike anywhere and unlike most places in this country. If it's simply an individual orange or you're making a fresh salad for one hundred rabbits or buying bacon for your Sunday brunch, beef for the backyard grill or you just enjoy meeting new people and exploring different economies, foods and cultural ceremonies this place is open to you and for you. “Looking for a local meat market for steak, I swung by here. Didn't realize it was Halal, but that's not an issue. I walked it, and saw a gentleman relaxed on the chair enjoying TV. The place is clean. There are two glass display coolers. Left side has a variety of chicken, both breast and thighs/legs, and fish/lahori, in various Tikka marinades, some spicy. On the right are various lamb and Goat options, some cubed some ground. There are also stand up fridges that have large portions of lamb and some frozen foods.I let him know I just happened to be in the area and just looking, but the smell of the marinades was instantly mouth watering.I bought some fish and chicken "Crazy Crispy". Delicious. Glad I gave this place a chance. Looking forward to seeing the kind gentleman again. The Tikka marinades were delicious. I'll have to try the other 5 marinades I saw.”
