“Best gas station food I ever had. Was on a road trip from bonaparte lake, heading home and we stopped by. Got the double cheeseburger and wasn't disappointed. Fat beef patties for a gas station. It was 9 am and the food was fresh. Recommend stopping at this gas station if you're passing through”
“Counter service was excellent: I asked for something I didn't see on the shelf. The checker went out of his way to find it for me. I didn't want coffee: a server offered me tea, instead. I'll be back.”

“The hospitality here was fantastic. The folks inside were so kind, and fountain drinks for a buck any size.Y'all, that may not mean much to you. And that's totally understandable.To me, my dogs alone drink at least a gallon (usually more like 1.5 galls) per day.Here, while the large ice water was free (thank y'all so much!!!!), even if it wasn't a big af ice water goes a long way for pups who can down a litre together in one post-walk watering.Also, the view is great. Off to the side there is a little deer path down to the larger trail below. Beautiful views all around, and plenty of flowers for the dogs and I to admire.”
