Hours: For more than 75 years, the Mid-Columbia Symphony has been a vital cultural resource for the Mid-Columbia region. Originally formed during World War II, primarily from the ranks of Hanford workers with a love for music and a desire for fellowship, the Symphony evolved through the years to become a respected cadre of dedicated, talented amateur artists performing under professional direction. Today’s Symphony is a fully professional organization, with more than 40 of the region’s finest professional musicians under annual contract and 30 artists from outside the region contracted for individual concerts. Our programming is designed to entertain and enrich the wonderfully diverse population of the Mid-Columbia region.
