“I took my 2015 Miata to Mackin's after I bumped another Miata on a club run, when they started to take off from a stop sign, then had to slam on their brakes, when a car suddenly appeared. A delivery truck on the side of the road was blocking their view. I had just started to pull up, and bumped them. It was my first at fault accident in 52 years of driving.
They did a beautiful job matching the paint, and with the whole repair. You can't even tell it was ever damaged. They replaced the bumper cover and parts under it, including repair to a radiator bracket. It took a month, due to insurance taking their time to approve additional repairs, and then having to wait for the parts once approved.
The staff was great and immediately responded to questions and kept me informed. I chose them based on reviews and the estimate, it was the highest, but they were the only ones to include replacing the PPF bra on the car. They were not on my insurance companies list, another reason I chose them. I wanted them to work for me, not the insurance company. They did.
I took it in to them after it was finished because somewhere it got paint transfer on the bumper while we were waiting for the paint to cure before replacing the bra. They brought out a buffer and polish paste and luckily it came right off. The bra was replaced last week.
If ever necessary, I will definitely bring any my cars to them again.
