Today, I wanted to buy four fresh, 5-pound "Draper Valley Farms" whole chickens, $1.99 a pound. $1.00 PER pound discount.
(I saved $20 on the chicken alone)
The butcher, COREY, quickly brought out to me, cheerfully, a 4th chicken, since I had bagged the last 3 that were in the cooler.
ANDREW checked me out. Smart, polite and focused. He automatically gave me a "Senior Discount", $6.30 on my order total.
My total discount on $119.50, $13.54.
That's not nothing. (3 gallons of free gas)
