Akins Fresh Market is a full, locally owned grocery store serving the Ritzville community since 1963. It features fresh produce, locally sourced meat and vegetables, beer, wine, and conventional and natural groceries. The store is very clean and well-stocked. Reviews find the staff to be wonderful, very friendly, and fun, putting smiles on faces. The owners work hard to accommodate customers, making the market a positive community addition. I live in a remote town, 30 miles from "Akins Fresh Market". Dairy, bread, produce and meat, almost, price equivalent to Walmart. For 8 years, I've made the trip, usually monthly, to Akins. The best place in Ritzville. Updated, clean, great staff and great rural deals (it's always more expensive outside of metropolis)! Anything better you'll have to drive for an hour to Spokane, Moses lake or the Tri-cities.
