Key bank is the absolute worst!! What bank won’t cash a check for their customer and provide them the bills they requested? Seriously you couldn’t hand my son his cash for the check he received? Why do you make everything so difficult? Is it your goal to cause customer hate and effort? Worthless.

Be aware of KeyBank’s $500 promotional offer.
I have been receiving several offers from KeyBank. Their most recent offer is to provide a $500 bonus for opening a checking account, while their earlier offer was only $300 (pictures attached). However, I'm not sure if these offers are legitimate, and I don't want to fall for another scam from this bank again (refer to my first review dated 12/06/2023 for the initial offer).
Although I have contacted their customer service multiple times requesting the removal of my name and personal data from their database system and have emphasized that I do not want to receive any more of their promotional emails, they have ignored my request and continue to flood my mailbox with such offers.

Be aware of the KeyBank get $300 promotional opening smart checking account scam!
Recently I received an offer from KeyBank with a promotional code offering $300 if I open a smart checking account by 12/15/23. KeyBank rejected my application despite providing sensitive personal information and including the promotional code they provided.
It is evident that the promotional offer from KeyBank, such as the one I received, is a deceptive tactic to attract visitors to their website for advertising purposes.
It is imperative that financial institutions act with transparency and integrity, and engaging in fraudulent activities is an unacceptable breach of trust and should be reported to appropriate authorities.

Do not rely on this branch for notary services. I went there with a prior appointment specifically for notary and they refused stating that the document does not have a section for notary signature! I walked to Chase branch across the street. I had no appointment but they got it done in 5 minutes (I am a customer of both banks).It was strange. If they don’t want to provide notary services, they should do so upfront and not waste customer’s time.

Corrupt bank with hidden charges. I opened a checking account only to discover with 6 months later that they are charging me monthly fees. They didn't disclose it at the time of opening account.

I love this Key Bank Branch! I go into the bank several times a week for my business, they are always friendly, knowledgeable, professional and greet me by name. I have most of my personal and all of my business accounts with Key. Any time I've had a problem; lost debit card, bank fees i didn't agree with, emergency loan they were always there to help promptly.
