“Every time we've come here for anything the staff - both front end and back - have never been anything but professional and kind.
Dr. Slentz has saved both my cats at multiple points throughout their fluffy lives and has a straight laced delivery that I appreciate over the overly friendly nothingburger candor I've gotten from other vet officies. He tells you how it is but doesn't give up and exhausts absolutely every avenue he can to make sure your pet makes it home happy and healthy.
I will always be thankful for Loyal Companion Animal Care and highly recommend them to anyone in need of a vet.”

“My 3 dogs and 1 cat all go to this clinic - I’ve been going to this clinic for about 10 years because they are wonderful! I have always been very happy with their veterinary services whether on an emergency basis or a routine checkup and procedure. The doctors are always knowledgeable and willing to look things up and report back, the vet techs are thoughtful and courteous, and the administrative team are knowledge about how things work when it comes time to schedule future appts, when to schedule what, etc. and they always get back to me right away when I email them, etc. dogs range from 7 lbs to 160 lbs and my cat is a naked Lykoi cat - so I’ve seen the clinic’s support for a few different kinds of patients and I’ve been happy with their approach on preventative care and treatments.
I have also seen them ask for feedback so it’s great that they are proactive about learning how they can improve. A few years back I responded to a survey - I gave feedback in connection with the administrative support team. The Doctor who is the managing partner of the clinic called me right away and listened to my perspective. I have not had any repeat issues since. They also now offer a certain level of emergency services which is great because it is close to our house.

“We had a great visit! The vet, Dr. Lozano, the techs, and the front desk staff were all friendly, professional, helpful, and clear. The facilities were clean, and most importantly, Martey came back from getting bloodwork happy as a clam. They were upfront about cost before any tests or vaccinations, so there were no surprises. Test results and comprehensive guidance were offered shortly after the visit via email. We'll gladly continue Martey's care here and will confidently recommend the practice.”
“For any bird owner, care at Evergreen Avian & Exotic pets is a must have relationship. Specialty training/degree in avian care is extremely important. Dr. Boutette is so skilled and takes excellent care with parrots. It was so impressive and much appreciated when he introduced himself to my parrot. Birds are so intelligent. It was amazing how that introduction made the first exam so much easier on my parrot. Annual exams are pretty traumatic for birds so the extra care goes a long way. Much appreciated. Respect is so important. I trust Dr. Boutette completely.”
“I have had nothing but positive experiences with Dr. Hoover and the vet assistants/techs that I have worked with! My recently adopted kitten has been having blood in her urine and so far tests are showing nothing but Dr. Hoover has her on some meds that seem to be helping and they've been nothing but gentle and sweet to my kitty and treating her as if she were their own. I cannot recommend Cottage Lake Vet enough even after working for a different vet hospital!”

“My senior dog recently started having trouble walking. A previous vet prescribed arthritis medication, but I didn’t see any improvement. Dr. Canaway took the time to thoroughly examine her and discovered it might actually be a neurological injury. We’re now seeing a specialist. I’m so grateful, not only for the care they gave my pup, but for truly listening when I said the medication wasn’t helping.”

“Dr Allen is truly to most caring and friendly vet around. Her staff is fantastic as well.
Going to the vet is never fun for anyone, but she does her best to make both you and your furry family feel at ease. She’ll do everything on the floor with your pup if your pup is too nervous to be on the table. That’s just one of the many things she does. We’ve been going to her for years and honestly can’t imagine going any where else. Even after we moved about an hour away we still go back to her.”

“Dr. Mangan has always been patient and loving with my dogs. She was wonderful when my boy Tofu came in urgently and was by our side when we made the decision to put him to sleep. Fast forward we were given Lunchbox a Cattle Dog Mix with some behavioral issues so I was a little nervous bringing him to the vet and again Dr. Mangan was incredibly patient with him and even became friends with our new boy!”

“My dog was very sick, unable to stand on a Saturday when most vets were closed. I went to Banfield first, they said they were booked solid and couldn't see him until end of day. I begged them as he was very ill and the answer was no. In desperation I found Animal Hospital of Newport Hills open nearby. I showed up bawling my eyes out because my dog was very sick and needed to see a doctor. They were booked too, but doctors at Newport Hills said they would squeeze him in. They saw him, did blood work, reviewed the blood work and sent us home with antibiotics and painkillers and another appointment the following week to discuss next steps. I'm happy to say my dog is feeling better today and able to walk and improving thanks to the doctors at Animal Hospital Newport Hills. I'm sooo great full they cared enough to see my dog they have earned my business and my gratitude! Highly recommend!”

Anyway… This place is amazing!!
I have never encountered a veterinary office where EVERY single person was super warm, kind, understanding, knowledgeable, and genuine animal lovers. I would absolutely highly recommend.
My experience:
I received a coupon for a free initial basic exam so I called in to schedule an appt. I think I called on Monday and they had me scheduled by Wednesday. Monday afternoon they called to verify some information to get my dogs records sent over.. Tuesday confirmed the apt by phone. Wednesday my dog and I found our forever vet.
I walked in the door, weighed my dog and was promptly shown to an exam room. Before I had even filled out the authorization paperwork, the nicest vet tech came in. My dog loved her! She got right down on the floor and sat with him.. he LOvED it. The vet came in and did the same thing. There is nothing pretentious about the staff here. It’s simply refreshing, and I’m just so impressed! The love they have for animals is so apparent. The vet knew one of the dogs in the waiting room by its bark!
I can’t speak to technical skills of the veterinarian, Ericka, because we just went in for a basic exam, but I would trust her wholeheartedly to care for my dog.
Again, I would highly recommend. They also have separate entrances for cats and dogs.”
