“I am a transgender woman, so there are some extra things I look for in healthcare. After my first visit, which was 2 hours, I felt like I had made a new friend, a doctor friend who cares about my health and listens to my concerns. Dr. Johnson is very kind and personable and treated me with utmost respect. She is still learning about FTM transgender care, but she is 100% on board and supportive, and seems to really seem to want to get up to speed on everything for my best care.The small clinic felt more intimate rather than sitting in a huge lobby waiting with everyone else. My appointment was on time so I wasn't waiting a long time.One unexpectedly nice aspect was when I was done, I was just allowed to stay and rest after my blood draw, and I was free to go whenever. I didn't have to come by the front office to schedule my next appointment (I can do so from the app) or to pay anything (no copays.)I saw many of the 5-star reviews and wondered if there wasn't some "please rate us" incentive going on. I truly think that the service provided here is incentive enough to go and post a rating!”

“I've been a patient here for 15+ years and have received quality care, kindness & efficiency. With the recent provider retirements, new management & staff changes, I've become frustrated. It is extremely difficult to get in for an appointment...about 2 months ahead with my new ARNP (who I love) and a month out for the other providers!! Seriously, this is unacceptable! It was not this difficult previously. This forces patients to go to Urgent Care or even ED for care, which negates the purpose of having a PCP that you trust will be there when you need them for care. It also costs patients more. I DO want to continue my care here, and hope there's a solution to this business model that doesn't seem to be working all that well currently.”
“Fast, super friendly staff. I couldn’t get into my primary care for two weeks. Went on line and found AFC urgent care. Went to their website and booked an appointment. Super easy. Appointment at 230. Was seen by 300. I was impressed how quick and thorough the medical staff was.”

“Dr. Dina Nguyen is amazing! I highly recommend her as a pediatrician for your little ones! Never have i seen a doctor that advocates for patients as much as she does! We had our first newborn appointment with her at 5pm to check my son’s bilirubin level. Lab closes at 5:30pm so i was so stressed out that it wasn’t gonna be done that day. Dr. Nguyen RAN with us to 2 different labs in 2 different VMC buildings to make sure that stuffs got done! I am so thankful for that!”

“Today Feb 5, we went in for the vaccination per our appointment. We were concerned about long lines because my 90 year old father can't stand long. However, when we got to the front entrance, the lady who was in charge of taking /checking temperatures for each person was so helpful. She brought out a wheelchair and helped my father into it, then guided us to the next step.After the shot, everyone was asked to sit down for 15 minutes. During this time, the doctors were on standby to make sure we were all okay and didn't have some immediate side effects. While waiting, we were so impressed and thankful to the doctors and staff who all went the extra mile to provide great care.We want to thank the entire CHI Franciscan staff, the front entrance, the front desk, register, nurses, and doctors. Your kindness and professionalism means a lot to us and to everyone there. Also, thank you for handing us the Vaccine record cards with our second shot appointment reminder. This is very helpful! Brought us peace of mind. Thank You for everything you have done!”
