I have shopped at Ace Hardware stores in Seattle since I bought my first home in the Magnolia area in 1980. Since I was a novice in home up-keeping, when I went to the store with a problem, I was always helped by the staff on how to solve it. I always felt respected. To this day, 45 year later, I still shop at Ace Hardware because of the service I receive in responding to questions. Also I like the products Ace Hardware carries. Where I live now in downtown Seattle, every 3 months I walk to the Ace Hardware store close to where I live and walk up and down the aisles to see what's new. This last time when I bought a timer, I learned about the Reward Program and I joined. Thanks for being the
helpful store that you are.

I feel very lucky to have such a well stocked and staffed hardware store within walking distance of where I live. They carry Benjamin Moore paint, a huge variety of tools and anything you might need for a handyperson's project. The staff are friendly and helpful. Finally, a small thing but important to me as a huge rock music fan, the music they play in the store is always amazing and makes the visit that much more enjoyable.

Found the exact screws I was needing to secure the seat on my E bike. 8 screws, less than $2. They even allowed me to bring my bike inside while I shop.

I love that there’s a rather large hardware store right in the middle of DT. Staff is generally really helpful and friendly.
As someone who no longer has a car, I appreciate that they’ll deliver a heavy/bulky purchase for free (I did spend a lot on premium paint however, and they kinda messed up on communication with the delivery driver, but it was worth the minor hiccups).
Taking off one star for 1) the male staff member who tried to steer me in the direction of a “lady” drill when I wanted to buy a top-quality high power drill, and 2) AWFUL MUSIC WAY TOO LOUD..!!! Manager, if you’re reading this, please know that I’ve had to prepare myself by bringing earplugs just to shop here, but it makes no difference - the classic rawk music is so loud and heinous it cuts right through. When your mind is trying to think through a complex home improvement problem, having extreme background noise like that makes it nearly impossible to think/shop. I’ve actually left the store several times because it was so obnoxious.
