Pickup after midnight at SeaTac was easy as could be. Drop-off two days later was also a seamless experience. Thanks for making my time in Seattle far less stressful!

Rented a worn out car 59,000 miles that wasn't maintained or inspected. Brakes, gas pedal, didn't work properly, had to jump the battery the second day. Wind noise coming thru the side window annoying. Took it back the second day and swapped out for another car. I felt like the car was unsafe to drive.

As a member of President’s Club, customer service on the phone was not understanding and did not show excellence in customer service. Staff at actually facility location was extremely helpful.

We encountered several issues with our car rental experience. Despite booking a specific vehicle, we were provided with an undervalue car which the one that was notably unclean and exhibited signs of wear and tear, including a dirty gearbox area and sticky, uncomfortable seats. Furthermore, the vehicle's reliability was questionable, and we experienced an hour-long wait during the pickup process. Additionally, unexpected charges were levied at the conclusion of our trip, leading us to conclude that booking with Avis constitutes poor value for money. We strongly advise against utilizing their services or those of Budget. Our dissatisfaction extended beyond the vehicle itself; interactions with staff at the Seattle airport were marked by rudeness and disregard for customer service, exemplified by a staff member neglecting to address us during an important announcement. From initial contact with customer care to the completion of our journey, our overall experience fell short of professional standards. We had car from Sixt. They were helpful, fast and reliable. Amazing with them was awesome compared to Avis.

I was originally happy with my service - nice staff, easy dropoff. The pickup actually took 2 hours, but this seemed like a one-off and not typicalThen I was assessed a fee to fill the vehicle, despite having filled it on my way to the airport to drop-off (within 2 miles). Thankfully I had receipt proof of this.Avis in general has started assessing erroneous fees the past year that thankfully I have had proof (I've now had 4 erroneous fees charged - 2x false empty tank, pre-existing damage, and most recently a cleaning fee for normal amounts of dirt where your feet go).I've been a loyal Avis customer for over 5 years, and due to whatever change in policy that has resulted in their liberal use of fee assessments, I cannot recommend this company. Somewhere there has been a directive to charge charge charge fees, whether valid or not.

A friend advised me to use Avis and become a preferred member for an upcoming business trip. This was the best advice! While driving our rental car someone ran us off the road and we hit a construction cone which ripped off the passenger side mirror. I brought the car back to Avis and they immediately swapped me out for another car. In fact, they upgraded me for free. I didn't have to pay a dime or sign paperwork. It literally was an in-and-out transaction, they handed me the keys to the replacement car and we were back on the road. In my preferred membership I signed up for/ applied the damage waiver. Well worth it. Accidents happen, and Avis was forgiving and swapped my rental no questions asked. We resumed our trip! Perfect experience. I will use Avis again.

I am generally impressed with the level of service and quality of vehicles supplied by Avis. This remains broadly the case for this rental which was for four and a half weeks, with pickup in Seattle and drop off at LAX. The pickup in Seattle was far from perfect. The agent at the pickup point was offhand and really uninterested... I asked if I had been given a category upgrade (Presidents Club) and he shrugged and said I had. Two days later I realised that no upgrade had been applied. Avis staff on the phone were moderately helpful, but full marks to the boss at the Avis station in Salem, OR who couldn't have been more helpful, and to Rose at the Eureka Airport station who was also very helpful a little later in the trip.Finally, full marks to the staff at LAX drop off who were cheerful and helpful and helped get our bags onto the shuttle bus...

They did not have cars for people with confirmed and payed reservations at the Seattle airport location on 3/12/2024 1am. People lining up and waiting over 1hour. No clear communication or proper costumer service. Not sure how long the wait would be as I eventually left and took an uber and will figure out car rental tomorrow somewhere else.

The Cars available for rent will blow you away.Seemingly Every Car was Brand New, Low Miles, and Clean as a Whistle.Plus they are priced at a Low Rate..Easily this Avis could be considered a Flagship Location.

Worst rental company ever. I was given an electric vehicle and explained at the counter that I needed to drive to Portland. They assurred everything was fine, because it was fully charged and had a reach of over 300mi. I drove for 30 minutes to find out through its interface -which I was unfamiliar with, and therefore had taken me a bit of time to figure out- that it had only a 56 miles range with its remaining charge. I had to turn around to change my car. No apologies given whatsoever for the more than 1hr time wasted and employees were totally rude to me. They gave me their lowest available gas powered carin stock. Employees just showed they hate working for AVIS and AVIS showed their total lack of processes and care for their customers. My first and last time with them.

Everything was fine, except that after receiving the car, I found that the tire pressure was too low, and I had to refill the tire pressure every day in a row. It caused me a lot of trouble. I hope that the cars you give to customers in the future will have been fully inspected!
