“This shop was my first wedding dress appointment and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I worked primarily with Justys, who did a phenomenal job in every aspect. I am a midsized girl, and trying on clothes is not my favourite thing to do. I was pretty nervous and honestly much more dread-filled than excited at the prospect of dress shopping. Justys made me feel incredibly comfortable and really beautiful because she knew how to panel and clip each of the dresses I tried on to really fit the shape of my body.
La Belle Elaine's had a great selection of dresses within my price range (which was a sticker price below $2k), and Justys was wonderful with discretely and consistently keeping to my budget. She also did a great job of walking me through potential alteration options for the dresses I liked the most and giving cost estimations for those alterations.
I also think it's noteworthy to mention that I did do my dress appointment with a group of aunts and moms (a little more mature and a little more critical), who all really enjoyed their experience as guests.
My appointment truly felt like a special experience and exactly how you would want to feel choosing a wedding dress, which I hadn't realized would be so important to me. La Belle Elaine's set the standard for every dress appointment I had after, and I would absolutely recommend this shop to any bride to be, it ticks all the boxes for selection, pricing, staff (especially Justys, who I can't praise enough), and experience.”

“If you are a bride you MUST try Brides for a Cause first. I was lucky enough to find my dress at the Tacoma location but I still had an appointment scheduled on Roosevelt and wanted to take a look. The store is beautiful, the dress selection (including designer gowns) is wonderful and the cause is amazing. Prices are unbelievably good, and in some cases reflect the varying conditions of the dresses (you should expect that a dress here or there might have a flaw, like a broken zipper pull, that will require your attention—but nearly all wedding dresses require alteration regardless of where you buy it). The store clerks were so kind and helpful, and had great advice. I did not feel rushed. This is such a great place to find your dream dress (as long as you are willing to keep an open mind and try different styles!). Highly recommend.”

“Dresses are beautiful but limited. If you’re looking for simple form fitting dresses this is the place for you! No ball gowns are available here. they don’t do alterations. After spending more than $2500 on a dress I wish they would do alterations. The stylist are nice and friendly. Good experience, but couldn’t say yes to the dress here.”

Danielle was instrumental in helping pick the stone, did lots of great comparisons and showed different setting options. And the option to bring it back if it was not what she was looking for was a big weight off my mind. Long story short, it was a huge success. Would highly recommend.”
