I asked a question to the person at the counter, they asked me to wait for a bit once he’s free he’d let me know. Took him around 15 minutes and I could see he was now free but he never offered to help me or anything even though we had an eye contact. Kinda snobby guy. Maybe I wasn’t the demographic he was interested in. Weird.

Our experience at Crate & Barrel in University Village was excellent! Everyone we interacted with was incredibly kind, especially Arvin, Ronnie, and Myla.
Myla was warm, friendly, and very helpful when placing our order.
Our situation was a bit complicated because the payment we needed to make exceeded my Crate & Barrel credit card limit. Huge kudos to Arvin and Ronnie — they were professional, experienced, and extremely patient and friendly in helping us split the payment so we could still receive all the rewards.
Most of the furniture arrived in perfect condition, except for one credenza with a small defect. I called the store, and Arvin handled the replacement smoothly and without any hesitation.
We previously had a bad experience at the Crate & Barrel in Bellevue, so even though we live in Kirkland, we now choose to shop exclusively at the University Village location.

We bought a down filled Oceanside couch from Crate and Barrel and have regretted it since day one. From the moment it arrived it has been leaking feathers through the fabric, which constantly pokes us while we use the couch. We gave it time to break in thinking it might settle, but it is still just as bad as it was on day one.
When we reached out we were told that because it had been over 30 days (we reached out on day 35 after receiving the couch) and was a custom color there was nothing they could do. That is apparently their standard return policy, which didn’t feel right at all to me since this was more of a warranty/quality issue than a return. The sales rep initially seemed determined to find a remedy and mentioned possibly ordering new cushion covers to contain the feathers, but then completely stopped responding.
Months later we still hate this couch. It looks fine, but it is uncomfortable, messy, and constantly pokes us. For the price we expected far better quality and customer support. Would not recommend C&B at all. We were shocked to receive such little support from a company this big with furniture this expensive.

The employees at Crate & Barrel are consistently helpful and knowledgeable on matters of home decor and design, and the store sells high quality furniture and furnishings.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Micah here in the past. He was wonderful, as well. I wanted to post a review due to recent help from Todd at this location, who has been delightful and sincere. I’ve had my eye on the same dining set, and despite many new system changes, he’s been delightful and helpful in assisting me virtually. If anyone needs help in furniture purchases, please reach out to Todd! He will have you covered, and I definitely recommend purchasing through your local store (this store personally recommended by me 😉) instead of online. Thank you, Todd!

I had such a fantastic experience at Crate & Barrel in University Village! From the moment I walked in, the store felt welcoming, well-organized, and full of inspiration. What made the visit truly exceptional was working with Mimi.
Mimi was beyond helpful — she was informative, fun to talk to, and really took the time to understand what I was looking for. She offered great suggestions, answered all my questions with ease, and made the entire process enjoyable instead of overwhelming. Her knowledge and genuine enthusiasm made me feel confident in my choices, and she went above and beyond to make sure I left happy.
If you’re shopping at University Village, I highly recommend asking for Mimi. She turned a simple shopping trip into a 5-star experience. Thank you, Mimi and Crate & Barrel!

It’s a good store, but the cashier threw her head back in exasperation and made a big fuss about us having five boxes of dishes to return. Sorry we decided we didn’t like the set of dishes. I was assured by someone when we filled our registry that returns were hassle free. We were definitely hassled.

🚨 WARNING TO CUSTOMERS 🚨
I spent $4,000 on a Crate & Barrel couch, and after just over 1 year of minimal use the seams started falling apart. When I reached out, their team refused to repair or replace it, despite multiple emails where they initially suggested warranty support.
Shoppers deserve to know that C&B does not stand behind their products. Please be cautious before purchasing.

Had multiple issues with delivery. The in store associates Ronnie, Nick and Sailor handled the situation like absolute PROS, Sailor met us as we walked in, remembered our names, apologized and Ronnie solved the furniture situation, Sailor followed the entire process from start to finish and Nick helped load the table in our car and was amazing. THANK YOU!!

Today I had a great experience at this Crate and Barrel location. Bellevue female store manager refused to exchange some every day stoneware that I purchased on May 18, 2025. It was the Hudson line and I specifically asked the sales associate about utensil scratch marks and how to prevent this. She told me not to buy the matte finish, but with a glaze finish. Well two weeks later black utensil marks started appearing. So today the Bellevue store manager told me that it was my responsibility to read the care instructions prior to purchasing. I guess sales associates informing the consumer doesn’t count. Then she told me to use barkeeper soap for every day dishes and to wash them on the top dishwasher rack. I don’t know too many dishwashers that can hold dinner plates on the top rack.
So I left frustrated and called U Village and luckily spoke to Assistant Manager, Taylor. Wow we need more Taylor’s. He was shocked by my experience and told me to drive on over and they will take care of me. I was able to exchange the plates and spent more money on other goods. This store location prides themselves on customer service and Taylor and his team sure made my day! Thank You!

Spent 30 minutes waiting for my pickup. No one answer the phone, no one responds to me on the chat.

Incredibly rude staff. Very snooty. I went in to return two pans that didn’t work with my induction stove. Unlike most retailers, they make you physically go to the store for free returns. When I was there, both staff members were incredibly rude and made the return challenging. I was going to get a replacement while there, but would now prefer to shop elsewhere.
