They work with people from where they are, getting around unnecessary red tape. The clinic offers treatment services, counseling, outreach referrals, peer advocates, and resource information for recovery and housing. They also provide acupuncture for clients at no out of pocket cost. The staff are understanding, easy to talk to, and genuinely want to help people watch their growth in recovery without judgement. However, the building itself seems to be falling apart and has flooded, so clients wait outside in the rain for a shuttle to the Renton branch. Despite this, many clients feel the clinic completely turned their lives around. One client who has been going for 10 years was a homeless, hopeless, depressed addict and is now happy, healthy, and completely drug and alcohol free. They believe it is the best place ever.

I’ve been a patient at ETS for a while. My experience overall has been positive. I’m thankful for my counselor, and for the staff that go out of their way to be friendly and supportive.

After fifteen years as a patient here, I feel especially qualified to recommend Evergreen to anyone who is ready to kick opioids.
Unlike some places, the staff here is friendly and kind, and they want you to get better.
