Rented a bunch of misc electrical tools when I did electrical stuff. Rented a SDS drill for drilling through concrete, not something I'll ever need again so very convenient. Building is too small though”

“Having recently moved to Seattle I tried a bunch of boxing gyms and am so glad to have found my home at Nomad. All the coaches make you feel incredibly welcome, help you no matter what level you're at and encourage you to do better. The regular classes are a great workout and a good use of an hour. I don't do any sparring but that whole group seem like such a tight knit family and makes the space even more of a vibe.”

Volunteering here was a fulfilling experience, and the staff and fellow volunteers were super nice and helpful. The food bank’s operation is super organized which made it easier as a volunteer. Will definitely be back to volunteer and I would encourage others to do the same!”

“The theater is beautiful. The acoustics above average and the ushers are super friendly. Seats in need of an upgrade soon, which they are planning to do. Dance performances amd musicals are the best here as every seat is a great seat. Music concerts are also fun here.”

“This building was called The Nihon Go Gakko Language School. It was built in 1913 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. This is a beautiful historic building and a must see. I took the tour in March and had a friendly knowledgeable tour guide. I highly recommend seeing this place.”

“I've driven by the SES Senior Center many times since I live in South Seattle. When I had family visit from out of town, I needed a wheelchair for one of my limited mobility family member (they were 86 years old and couldn't walk for long). I called the SE Seattle Senior Center and they were able to help me right away. Wow, what a wonderful surprise to get help immediately by professional and helpful staff who went out of their way to help me! Needless to say, the family visit was great and it was due to having the wheelchair available. THANK YOU SES Senior Center! You are a jewel in our South Seattle Neighborhoods!”

“Many moons ago I came here as a troubled youth. Lambert House was a place I could be myself and not worry about judgement. I made friends and was distracted from a tumultuous life. In the end I made poor choices and turned my back on the house that had given me so much. The director, Ken, was a generous man and I pray he is still there guiding the LGBT youth of today. If you are in need of help or support don't hesitate to stop by. You won't regret it.”

“It was great! You can have your first 3 visits as a "guest" and then if you decide that you'd like to come more, then you just do a little orientation and become a member- which is free. They have really great lunches there, I'm not sure about other meals because I'm always there around lunch time. A nice ,roomy place to kick back and chill and maybe catch a meeting (A.A.or like)or the even have some classes or groups for tons of different interests. Everything from Yoga to Knitting and writing to learning Mindfulness...very supportive staff. Once a month they have a resource fair...check their site for details ..”

I try to spread the word to get “more young people” at the Eagles but I’m over 40 so maybe I don’t count as a “young” person 😂 my friends and I love the pull tabs, the cheap drinks and meeting other members. It’s fantastic! Hopefully someday soon I can get involved with some volunteer opportunities as that’s why I initially joined . Very happy to be an Eagles member !”

Daniel is very knowledgeable and a great audio engineer with reputable experience and training. He is also authentic, patient, kind, reasonable and respectful. I never felt pressured (except by myself - ha!). He worked with me and allowed me to lead the way, but also offered constructive feedback when I asked him for it. We partnered in the process well. It's a nice, private space for a really good price. I also really like supporting non-profits. I highly recommend Daniel and Jack Straw!”
