Homestreet Bank was my mortgage lender until today. They are incompetent. They allowed my insurance company to cash my escrow check twice then come after me for the debt. They even sent my account to collections for a bill I already paid to them yet they let the insurance company get paid twice. Now I have a dinged credit score thanks to Homestreet.

CONSUMER BEWARE!! Zero stars. do not recommend. I learned the hard way that once we refinanced with another company, they don't automatically cancel your automatic payment when your account is paid and closed. They will still pull your payment even when you don't owe them anything anymore. When I confronted them I received no help or apology. Just condemnation because it was apparently my responsibility

I pick up my story after making about 25 deposits of $2 to a casino (.for fun can't win money) site. Yes, I confess I like the gambling games but $50 to relax and win electronic prizes (stamps and stuff that aren't real). You got me-guilty! They shut my card off...FRAUD they claimed. Well let me tell you about my real gambling...I have 4 investment brokerages. the plan was $100 a month each place LONG. I got a $1200 stimulus so I unvested that too. back to my card shut off,

HS sold my mortgage to NewRez/LoanCare, both unrated BBB businesses with many complaints. I am so disappointed in that poor decision. Their only solution was to sell me a new mortgage at the same interest rate plus fees.

Home street Bank is the WORSE BANK FOR MILITARY VETERANS! I had a home lone with them never late or missed a payment, always paid on the first of the month for years and since I was such a good customer they sold my mortgage off to Penny Mac and its been a night mare from then on.. WORST BANK EVER!!! BE WARNED IF THEY DO THAT TO A 3 TOUR COMBAT VET WHAT WILL THEY DO TO YOU!!!

This branch is great! Multiple people (Eleni, Yuri, James probably more that I'm not aware of) supported my team in organizing an event for small business owners. They were all really helpful and were a great resource for our group.

Terrible experience at this bank at the Mountlake terrace branch... a couple of issues but my biggest issue with them is the lack of privacy they gave me. My account was overdrawn at one point and instead of calling me they called my DAD! I was 28 at the time, my account was not linked to my dads account and had not been for several years and I never gave them permission to contact anyone but myself about my account. When I told them about it, they acted like it was no big deal and it felt like they blamed me for them calling my dad and they took no responsibility or ownership and never apologized for violating my privacy. I've since closed my account and am much happier with my new bank.

Was told incorrect information by two different employees regarding my checking account and loan. Spent awhile getting transfered from branch to branch regarding the situation. The employee whom I spoke with advised me she would call back which hasnt happened. I even left a message for her and havent recieved a call back yet. I did receive a call from a different employee who advised me my account was fixed, but questions I still have has yet to be answered.

My account was frozen without notice. I contacted the bank and was told they called and sent a notice. I informed homestreet Bank that my cell phone keeps a record of all incoming calls from my home and cell and requested a copy of the original correspondence with post marked date, I was told that's not possible. Homestreet claims my account had fraudulent activity because my daughter direct deposited a check into my account (which she has done off and on for over a decade) a

HomeStreet Capitol Hill branch is the best!! All the staffs are very friendly and treat you as you are the VIP and feel like I am a part of their family. Roger has been providing me a great customer service more than I could ask for. His friendliness, professionalism, as well as knowledge is great! If he didn't know the answer, he will find out for me and always get back to me as promised. Also the team Cap Hill branch seems to have great communication among themselves that even though when I speak with someone else, they know exactly what they need to service me. Great team! I also thank you to Frank, the branch manager, to bring this strong team to the branch. I really cannot go any other branches! Thanks!
