I stayed two nights recently. It was very comfortable and easy access to both downtown and north Seattle, minus the chaos of a lodging closer to or in downtown. Ample, free parking. Nice staff. Nothing fancy, but fairly quiet even right on hwy 99. I'd stay there again.Rooms: I stayed in a suite at the end of the building with one queen. Nice couch/sitting area.Nearby activities: I walked to the Fremont Abbey Arts Center for a music event. Walking distance to other Fremont attractions.Safety: It's Seattle, but I felt safe walking at night.Walkability: There is a skybridge right at the corner of the property to cross 99/Aurora to make it easier to access the Fremont neighborhood.

Clean, well managed, and in a great location. Would stay here again anytime I’m in Seattle.

Stayed in May 2023. Quite alright if you're on a budget. Everything seemed to be in working order. The room was so-so appearance-wise (the furnishings and bathroom could use an update) and smelled a bit funky (according to my companion).

This Motel is a great place to stay at if you’re on a budget. If you’re traveling and just need a place to stay and take a shower that won’t break your wallet too much, this is it. I’ve been staying here a few times when I come to visit Seattle. The front desk people are always super nice and welcoming. The rooms are decent, has: tv, fridge, microwave,AC, heating system, Wi-Fi. There’s a laundry room if you need one, I personally have not use it yet. Vending machine by the office and ice machine. Big parking lot. It’s on a busy street, but if you’re like me that doesn’t have a car, you can take a 15min walk to local park, restaurant/bars, stores. I usually travel in November, the neighborhood is BEAUTIFUL in autumn ?. Getting a Lyft to go to downtown or other tourist destinations was not too bad would spend $20-35 depending on the location from and to. But I’d say, take public transportation, Seattle has a great public transportation system and you get to feel the real local experience. I definitely recommend coming here, and I definitely will come stay here in the coming future.(Ps for the ladies: there’s no hair blow dryer in the rooms but they have them at the main office that you go and ask for one ! )

I have stayed twice at the Marco Polo. Both times I found my room to be clean and comfortable. The room was quiet other then the traffic sound from Aurora. I love that it is convenient for walking around Fremont and Woodland park areas. Staff was very friendly too!

Honest review here. Really great budget option (especially when your $1 is only worth $0.65 right now). Stayed here for a concert at Gas Works park not too long ago. The room, though dated and shabby, was large, cozy and clean. Had air conditioning and was close to lots of amenities, not to mention a huge parking lot. Would definitely stay here again. OH! The guy at the front desk was super helpful, nice and you could tell he actually cared. Cheers!

Clean rooms with plenty of space! The front desk is friendly and more than helpful if you have any issues. As mentioned, this motel is farther away from site seeing destinations then others but the trade off is a nice parking lot to keep your vehicle safe. I had no issue getting an Uber at a reasonable price. The only negative, if it counts as one, is the TV channels are very odd. Mostly stuff from the 70s-90s playing. If you're lucky you can find a good classic thriller! Overall this is a good place for the cost

Our stay as a family one night was wonderful. Jonathan assured that we were comfortable and provided us with the greatest amount of satisfaction. He showed us places to visit in Seattle, how to get there, etc. The room itself was clean and spacious.

Loved it. The lady there was wonderful and highly customer-focused.She took care of everything in a very professional way. I do not know her name but she makes the special summer drink by adding cucumber and lemon in water .It was wonderful.I would stay there again.Nearby activities: Close to Woodland zoo.

I absolutely recommend the Marco Polo Motel when staying in Seattle un the UW/Fremont areas! My pros?*Awesome staff from the reception to the manager. Very amenable with my checkout time*Location (OK, it's busy Aurora Avenue but you can get to all the main Seattle places quickly from here)*Free parking- it's Seattle folks- BIG PLUS ??*Nice, clean, vintage rooms with everything you need when you are on a budget*Price for valueSo while I do not have any cons, really, the only issue would be the noise from the traffic, however, I had the a/c on and it was very quiet. Rooms 105 and 205 seem to be ideal for quietness.Oh, per the cool manager, it may be Kurt Cobain was probably last seen in room 205 (although lore says 226?) , right above mine, 105. Well, that is pretty awesome. ??If you are the hoity-toity, snobby kind, please move on and go spend some big bucks elsewhere. Marco Polo Motel is the real deal. Not too many of these types of places left. ?
