The Marco Polo Motel offers a comfortable stay at a great price, with many guests noting they have paid much more for much less elsewhere. Some rooms provide an authentic ‘90s or vintage vibe, with a specific room offering a special, memorable experience for fans with thoughtful keepsakes. The motel is in a good, wonderful area, perfect for walking to local attractions and close to everything needed, including Fremont, downtown Seattle, Capitol Hill, and Pike Place Market. There is lots of parking. The property is in the process of upgrading and renovation, so some new furniture is being added. While the place could be a bit cleaner in some areas and the laundry area needs improvement, it is acknowledged that the motel is not in a super bad area. The wifi can be slow. Overall, it is a nice motel, highly recommended for the price and location, especially for those who do not require a lot of frill for short stays. Many guests state they would definitely stay here again.
Other hotels were $350 and $500 per night. This place is pretty dated but was clean and had a fridge and a microwave.

You get what you pay for. Rooms are a little run down but they’ve got their own distinct charm. Stuff was amazing, helping us change rooms, letting us borrow items to get ready for a wedding. The room we got moved to had some interesting history as Kurt Cobian’s go to spot.

Rooms are dated but clean and no-nonsense. When you need a safe place to rest your head in a location close to public transportation and restaurants, this is the spot!
