“The City of Seattle sells their (used) surplus property (other than real estate) from their Central Warehouse. It can be a good place for nerds (you/we know who you/we are) to buy a used computer (the computers are sold with no operating system), depending on what happens to be there at the time. For example, in November 2017 I bought a Hewlett-Packard i5 3.4GHz computer with a 500GB hard drive (no operating system) and 8GB of RAM for $70 plus tax. There's office furniture and retired/surplus Seattle street signs, too, and other stuff that I didn't look at. Cash or check only, open 11 - 4 Tuesdays and Thursdays (except holidays). Park on the south side of the warehouse where the signs say City of Seattle only. Think working industrial warehouse... not shopping club.”

Stephen was extremely helpful and set up an appointment with me to go through almost all of the chairs in the Steelcase line. Despite looking for just a personal home office chair, and stating that I was going to be purchasing online, they still took the time to meet with me and provide excellent customer service. “Wonderful customer service. We really appreciated this store and the friendly helpful employees. We bought an item that ended up needing to be returned. When we arrived there was a local outage because a vehicle had taken out a power pole and Internet was down impacting many businesses in the area.The employee at the store took our item and then promptly processed the return after the service was restored. This saved us a return trip to the store and a lot of frustration.Excellent store with awesome selection snd service that is above and beyond. Thank you !!”
